This is Blaze. Blaze is a teenage mutant ninja criminal.* At the moment, Blaze is concentrating very hard on a task of truly epic proportions.

*Well, he wishes he was a ninja. The rest is true though.

Ask what job are we exactly signing up for?
Sweepers? Scrubbers?
If it means dying in packs to some asshole ADVENTURER, that may not be a wise career choice.

...Also, can we have New Zealand?

You awaken to flickering numbers searing themselves deep into your eyes. Unconsciously, you shut your complaining eyes and curse loudly or try too. Your feel your mouth move but your ears hear no noise. As you hastily sit up, you hear a tinkling sound as your hand brushes across the soft carpet that covers your bedroom floor. It takes you just a second to comprehend that information and quickly swivel to find the source of the noise: glass litters the floor to your left, only visible due to the light from the alarm clock causing it to shine a blood red hue.
As your night vision recovers, you see that the rest of your room is completely clean: there is no longer any furniture or bed and two feet to your right yawns the soft carpet disappears replaced by a pocked surface. Across that is the door that leads to the kitchen of your flat.

What do you do?

You slowly lower yourself to the ground telling him as you do so that there is something desperately wrong with you and you need to go to the hospital.

"Yeah, ok we'll stop by the hospital," he says as he pulls a set of cuffs and roughly puts them on you a second later, "but after that you're going into a cell." He gestures for you to start walking so that he'll be behind you.

Stepping out into the corridor, you see peeking out of doorways the various faces of your neighbors, children and adults; some look curious (mostly the children), some look confused, most look pissed off after having been woken up in the middle of the night.

The hallway stretches to your left and right. At the end of left part of the hallway is a hallway, to the right the emergency stairwell. The officer tells you to head for the elevator.

What do you do?

The phone rings and you jump out of bed. Because this is not a familiar bed you end up hitting your head on the metal head-bars, and lie looking up at the ceiling fan as it spins.

So starts your first day as a crook. You didn't start off in life as a crook, of course. In fact your early life had not been too bad at all. But somewhere along the line, through no fault of your own, life caved in on you like a Chinese coal mine. There's too much of that to talk about in detail, and anyway you don't want to think about it.

Still, things could be worse. At least you've got a bed to wake up in now, for starters, and that's what you just did. The whole room smells of kebab spices and grease, but that's better than the smell of urine out on the streets too. Most importantly is what woke you up. Your handphone. This one's a gift to you from Stony Stan - 'a symbol of progress and further cooperation', in his words - and now it's ringing.

Come on, do something now.

But first, what is your name?

'Who, this guy? His name's Charles.' Stan gets out of the car on one side, and Charles the other. 'The two of you should get to know each other better, really. Your lives might depend on it later on, who knows?'

'But Abercrombie... do you want me to call you Abercrombie? Shall I just use Abby? What I've got here is a bit of a small-scale job for you.' Charles opens the boot, and you see something long wrapped inside a rug. 'There's a pusher who frequents this part of town, who owes me some money. Monthly payments, to ward off bad luck and poor business. He hasn't paid for three months straight, though, so I'm going to need you to help me... convince him.'

'You'll have to find him first, of course, but I trust you can do that. Once you do...' Charles unwraps the rugs. 'Use these on him. Be creative.'

You look into the boot and take what's inside.

You get a Baseball Bat, a pair of Kitchen Knives, and a Hacksaw.

'Any questions? Or shall I go now?'

You tear the envelope open. A small photo of someone falls out. The man looks very much the worse for wear, eyes and face like a junkie. Behind the photo: 'Terry McCall, Objective.'

You think this over. You could probably find someone you know who knows this Terry, given the number of junkie friends you have. But it won't be easy to persuade those thick-headed people...

Okay, okay, OOKAAAAAY, I am back in business! Yes, that little trouble with those Battle Angels did leave me in a precarious spot (How was I to know they'd take my words to heart, and secede from The Collective to make their own empire? Jeez, you tell someone that you have the next best thing to Bohemian Rhapsody, and they get delusions of grandeur.), but I pulled through!

...Granted, all I have right now are (50 units of honey), (5 units of royal jelly[I may have helped myself to some when at the Battle Angel's hive]), and (70 units of giant termite), and not a bit more to my name.

Well, a challenge is always invigorating! I just arrived at the bazaar in The Collective, what kind of mar-customer, yes, valued customer, which type should I keep an eye out for?

So far, the only notable consumers are The Big Duo, The Big O's little brother, a burnished gold beetle named Bob Marley, and a fly named Rocket Man. Granted, since they are known to have a good bit of resources, everyone tries to grab them as customers, so going after them might not be easy.

Conversely, I see plenty of fairly...... innocent looking consumers on the sidelines, and of course I could always wander about the bazaar, looking for the right customer.

Hm, what should I do?

Oooor, you could throw in a random bit once in a while. Maybe change your pattern to a 4-turn, and then switch between the 4-turn sets, some 5-turn sets, and your usual 3-turn sets.

Improvisation is always a good thing too.

alternately, you could try to catch him off guard with a different opening attack entirely. It may devolve into a turning match anyway, but if you can catch him off balance at the start, you will have won a potent mental edge.

...But perhaps if I were to expand my repertoire? Even though our mandibles are made for turning and flipping our foes, that does not mean it is all we can do: I shall abandon my normal methods, for the moment at least, and attempt to upset Blind Guardian's focus.

As he starts to trundle towards me, his mandibles held wide, I charge forward, slamming into one of the widely held mouth-parts of Blind Guardian, spinning his body about, surprise faintly emitting from his form.

>>102026
I cannot relent now, not when I have unsettled him, even if only just: I must continue, attempt to press this momentary advantage as much as I can. I start off with an inverted form of my normal attack pattern. grabbing his head and sharply wrenching RIGHT RIGHT LEFT, the final turn sending my brother skittering across the tree trunk. I race after him, unwilling to let this moment of strength pass so quickly. As I reach him, he manages to latch his mandibles about me as I do the same to him.

I return to my normal rotation pattern, hoping to catch him off guard. The first turn catches him unprepared, his head wrenching to the left.... but his uncertainty seems to lesson. My followup turn to the right is met with some resistance, and I smell his uncertainty vanish. When I attempt to turn him to the left again, I find my efforts turned upon me, as Blind Guardian pulls and twists at m

If you are truly faster than your brother, now is the time to press your advantage. Get to your feet and close with him before he has a chance to recover himself. Flip yourself up with a flick of your wing shell if you are the sort of beetle capable of such motions. In any event, you must close the gap and grasp your opponent quickly, by his mandibles, or anything else which presents itself, and turn for all you are worth.

Left Left Left Left RIGHT

With any luck, he will be too shaken to catch your first few turns, but he will expect that in your haste you have fallen back on your old turn pattern. He will expect the third to be to the right, and then you will have him.

Press our advantage, we're faster. We may not be able to get to him before he rights himself but we should be able to reach him before he regains his bearings. When we reach him attempt to flip him with a solid RIGHT LEFT RIGHT.

We have not met before now. There is not a relationship between us now or before now, but maybe there will be one after now. But she is special. She needs to stay here, or everything will be ruined.

There will be many moments when she will try to escape here. But the Owner will meet her far after now, and if she is not here then can't Owner meet home go want need home go home home home home.

Taking a deep breath, he resists the urge to smash the box. Turning, being the better minion he moves back into the main hall. As he returns slowly to Karpolk’s summoning chamber he can’t help but imagine how great it would of felt. That feeble wood would have been no match for Sumomonnom’s might, broken orbs and splitters would be all that was left from his rampage. It will surely be written into history as the world’s most one-sided fight, and how manly it was crushing the orbs of the enemy under his mighty footpad. Victorious he would give the wreckage the finger left.
Sadly that imagining only lasted the short return trip to the summoning room, there in the dank ritual ready room stood Karpolk holding the crying succubus, which apparently after years of ‘service’ to the warlock has made it lose its edge. Or, even better, the sheer might of Sumomonnom has broken its proud spirit and thus reduced it to tears. Excellent. Karpolk can surely see now that Sumononnom is more than worthy to be his minion, after all, he just imagined the shit out of smashing that crate apart.
Karpolk didn’t see it that way, grabbing Sumomonnom by the head and using all his warlock strength, hurled Sumomonnom out the tower’s window. Pack and all.

And with that I find that this is what is as it surrounds me.
I let my thoughts go forward towards the spaceless void known to me as The Great Dark.
As my thought travels they slowly appear, obediently bright and colourful stars and planets. I would let them know my name... but cannot recall. Perhaps Ill find one.
There are literally infinite directions in which I can travel, mine is the only influence I feel and that outside of the flows of time my power is without limits.
And yet I find myself drawn forward, into the Great Dark. Where do I head?

THE COLORS ONE WEARS

A yellow and black beetle, every bit as wide as a Mandarinian warrior but twice it's length and weight, has been wandering around. Recently, it made it's way to ground level after shaking off the bumblebees attacking it.

Currently, KILLER QUEEN, Wings Of Destiny and Crimson Glory are the only hero units currently available.

Idle ants available:
11 They Might Be Giants
26 Death On Six Legs
25 The Merciless

We hung out a lot when we were really young, but we started growing distant when I moved farther away in middle school. I stopped visiting him altogether a few months after we graduated middle school and began attending different high schools, so I'm not sure what he considers me anymore.

Hello everyone, I am Falcon, your quest host this evening. This is my first quest and I hope it will go well. Now lets begin.

Your footsteps echo loudly as you walk down the deserted school halls, you schoolmates having long since left. Heck you wouldn't even be here so late at night if you hadn't left your bag in the chemistry lab.
Strange...the light is on in the lab... it wasn't on when you were outside...
Must be the janitor.
"Hey Mr.Addams..." you say as you open the door.

Heat, intense heat. You are thrown backward as the inferno engulfs you, and then suddenly it stops...everything stops.

A message appears in front of your eyes.
DO YOU WANT POWER?_______

You awalk over to the wundow and peer out. You are on the third floor. The fire has spread to the second and fourth floors of this building. Directly below you is a tent left over from sports day, likely filled with equipment, and two cars.

"Hmmm, I could probably punch through the wall if i charge with ENERGY SYPHON first... but I don't really want to take out any more supports..."

What do you do? Jump out the window? Punch through the walls with the intention of going to the stairs or something else?

"Alright. Lets do this"

ENERGY SIPHON

The air crackles and the gauntlets engage. The room becomes significantly colder and darker as the gauntlets begin to glow a deep red.

ENERGY RELEASE!

Your fist accelerates rapidly and collides with the wall. The wall explodes outwards amidst a cloud of flame and bright light forming a makeshift bridge over the flaming debris.

You quickly scoop up Mr. Addams and rush over the fallen wall, before it is also consumed by the fire, and down the stairs.

Outside you see the night watchman staring dumbly at the flaming building.

???: I have lived for thousands of years, seen worlds come and go, and yet I could never forgive myself for those years ago the day the shadow fell... Ever since that day things have been falling apart. There is no longer a day or night. All the shadows have receded in fear of our power. My friends have become enemies, we use our power to push around everything around us, becoming a power to strong for it's own good. And as king, I can do nothing, I am a puppet. But no longer, this puppet has sat around for too long. It's time to cut my strings... but how? What can I do? Sages of old, please, help me.

Easier said then done great sages. While 4 may be the weakest of the three by far, she did not get the title of "the invisible death" by being easy to target. And to add upon that I still have to find a way to get out of here and conceal my identity. As I said before, I am king now because I am well known.

Well, you're made of light, right?

Sight = light particles.

Thus, make a disguise from yourself.

Hmm. What sort of resources do you have at your disposal, as a king? Are there any servants of yours who might be sympathetic to your cause?

Who knows of these shadowy puppetmasters besides yourself?

As a King I have the support of the people, however as a puppet I have no way to use that support for my own benefit.

The only servants I have are those abominable children of the metal lord. And the fact that they scour the entire world acting as soldiers and spies makes my job of taking out 4 that much more difficult.

>>100101
This might work in theory, however I've tried something like this on the soldiers. It seems they don't see as most of us do, they seem to sense the mana that makes up our forms. If I could get past them then it should work on the citizens however.

Make the magma drain system first! Its easier when you got a square pool to drain from. Melt the ore, build crossbows and raid the human caravan for anvils. Make more crossbows. Also, dig out an underground fishery.
