1. Wait for the boat to dock.
2. Move the boat to dry land.
3. Search the boat for more items and clues.

Note: you may want to check the boat and the trail you leave, in case something important falls off the boat.

You've never been super fond of swimming in big bodies of water. Who knows what types of sharks , jellyfish, or parasites you'd encounter. You think it's possible but you'd have to really want to try it to get past your hesitations about the ocean, and as for paddling it'd be hard to do in something that looks like a big metal cabinet.

You don't have voices in your head.

You have normal thoughts like everyone else, whoever anyone else might be at this moment. Sometimes you even talk to yourself when you're lonely, though you're not lonely often. Just right now for some reason even though it's a beautiful day.

Why were you in a box?

Focus on remembering what has happened. But after you reach dry land, and move the boat so that you can leave if you need to.

Key Questions:
1. Do you remember who you are? Your name? Your past? And of course, your skillset? Recall every single detail. Not only will each one allow you to do more on this island, but they'll help you remember just how much you're worth to the world.
2. Try to remember why the hell you're in a box, out at sea. Doesn't the box look... familiar?
3. Why? Why all this? You're a girl in the middle of the ocean, out on an island, floating in a box that acts like a coffin and you've found a key with no idea how to use it. Why would anyone ever do this to you? If you ask yourself this question, you might be able to pull apart the mystery of how you got here, what you're supposed to do to leave, and whether or not this is one big accident or something more.
4. Try to remember t h e f a c I l I

...Is this one big experiment?

Tinder
branches
Logs

remember, trees are flammable, but thicker sections have a naturally better defense against fire. You need to find some dry and thin stuff - dry grass, leaves, hay, or something else. If you're desperate, potato chips make great firestarters - all that oil in the chips is HIGHLY flammable. Put that on top of twigs and bushes, and put those on top of logs. And that's how you prepare a campfire.

Stones are good for preventing the fire from spreading, but it's easier to just set a fire on the beach. Finally, you're going to need tinder or matches to start fires. Save up the matches, they're really useful. If you need to use up a match, don't immediately put it out like in the movies, unless you need to stop fires instantly. Light different branches simultaneously. If you're REALLY desperate, rub the key against a rock and let the sparks fly.

Okay, take a moment to think, here.

Do you think there is ANY credible and official psychotherapy which involves taking an amnesiac and pummeling them with wave after wave of damning guilt based on actions that they literally do not remember?

Whoever that clown is, if wallowing in self-pity is the best possible action that you can take, then this world is likely fucked up.

Your sister might be dead, and it might be your fault. But that doesn't mean that a fucking psycho bully has the right to own and control you like a slave. If you have free will, then you can still make an impact. Do the best you can, whatever that is.

Okay, agenda for the day: You're in unknown territory, you have a few inventory items, and you don't have a renewable survival schedule.

1. Intel. Look around, find landmarks to find your way across the island, and find something to write with. You're going to want to memorize as much of the island as you can without going nuts. Knowing where the dead ends and hard-to-reach places are may be the difference between life and death.

2. Food and water: You're dangerously low on food, you need to find an easy way of stockpiling food. Then, you need to find a good source of clean water. Even rainwater must be filtered.

3. Shelter: Build a shelter. You may want to build high so that you aren't attacked by wild animals. Or, you may want to build some defenses around the beach for easy access. Worst-case scenario, use the box like a vampire coffin, since it looks like it was built to withstand bullets and animal attacks.

Keep trying to remember why you're here.

>>

Honestly, the clearing you're in is probably a better place for a camp than the beach - it's more sheltered.

It order to survive, you're going to need shelter, water, and food. The fire and the trees are probably going to be enough shelter for now, and food can usually wait.

So you should build a fire, and then explore the island for water.

Move the coffin box into the clearing. Place the sticks and stones next to the boxes, or in the coffin box.

Best Case Scenario: Your sister loves you a lot. This all turns out to be one big surprise party of some kind.

Worst Case Scenario: You die at the height of the welcoming party. Anything you never wanted to happen occurs now.

Expected Case Scenario: This whole island scenario is some kind of test, and you are being stalked by a psycho.

Play the game for now, but be ready to improvise the moment you see an opportunity. Right now, you have no idea what you're doing, no long-term plans for survival, and no skills to fight your stalker. Once that changes, stop blindly following orders and go on the offensive.

In terms of food, you just threw away about two pounds of fresh sushi. In terms of allies, you just insulted and abused a potential pet. In terms of future endeavors, if that crab has a family of other crabs or monsters which get angry when one of their own is attacked, or if the clown psycho is watching you play throw-the-crab...

Please do not throw the doll away. It may provoke the stalker.

Drawing the clown face might be scary, but it may unlock something within the doll! Of course, without any customized drawing tools, you're likely to damage the doll instead.

...Please ignore the fact that it looks like a... bowling pin.

You can have more fun with something else (Not the panties though!). That may be a good idea, find something to 'play' with.

You know, grab some round rocks, jab a few sticks in the ground, roll some rocks around. It's too bad none of those sticks are hollow, you could put rocks in them and make a sweet blowpipe weapon.

But in all seriousness please find some rope or a cutting tool. The longer you stay idle without tools the more options the stalker has.

Build a barrier using the rocks, sticks, and trees:

Build a fence using rocks and sticks and place the endpoints near the trees surrounding the clearing. Dig the sticks diagonally so that they criss-cross, and place stones near the sticks so that they support the sticks.

This barrier won't be enough to deal with most animals, but it's good for dissuading packs (especially with a fire on) and can be upgraded easily.

Okay, sleeping involves using less oxygen while your mind re-asserts itself. While you stay awake, various functions in your body and mind overexert themselves and need a cooldown/repair/resynchronization period. This is normal.

Yeah, this is the point where the con women usually claim that they're helping you when they could have looted you earlier, but are in fact suckering you because they don't have enough information about you to tell if conning you is a good idea or a "you played me, I kill you now with supah-skills" idea.

Unfortunately, you're thirsty and may die if you don't get some water soon. Follow them but be sure to look for sources of water while walking - they may have poisoned those too, though, so be careful.

Your new "friends" seem... off. Ask them about the island you're on... if it even is an island. The more intel you gain, fake or real, the more plans and strategies you can come up with.

On the plus side, the fact that you're not alone with a stalker for company is pretty comforting, regardless of whether or not these girls are on your side or not. Tell them about the stalker once you're sure that they didn't poison any of their "trusted" water sources.

After the drink (if you're still conscious) ask about the "owner" of the islands. Then make sure that the creepy guy in a mask is the stalker.

Party Trick: the stalker likely put the doll of himself back into your inventory. Pull it out if possible, and then ask for a writing tool. Draw an approximate of his mask on the face of the doll and ask if this is the guy.

Remember the little-big bluebird.

You... you were there, weren't you.

The [[Where is this place?]]. You were tortured. [[Did they help me or did they just use me?]]. You didn't escape. The tide did that for you.

Oh no. All the other insane [[Monsters? Experiments? Demons]], they're all coming out of the sea. They're going to find you and [[STOP STOP PLEASE STOP TALKING]]-

Put on your clothes, then decide if you want to go back to the coffin or to the survivors on the other side of this island.

Right now, you STILL have a pathetic excuse for supplies and defense, but your defense exists and you have a really good shelter that defends against most animal attacks at the cost of oxygen.

But you're hungry, undersupplied and underequipped. The survivors can do horrible things to you, but only if you're not dead. You may want to test how well you can trust them. Take what you need and pay back everything that they do for/to you.

If you really need to spend one more hour at the coffin shelter, take the spatula and bowl. Combine the spoon and bowl if necessary. Remember to close up the present box, and try adding a second fence around the coffin to prevent people from directly stealing from it.

Then get going. Go back to the river and use the bowl to carry some water for the long trip. If you're worried about spilling then drink before you go to bed.

Finally, is there any bran left? Your new friend might want some.

it is mostly made up of fat and adorable....no sharp or even hard parts it seems, also he smells slightly odd and his rubbery skin does not look delicious.

It's actually pretty tricky. In particular, a lot of people don't realise that the selection of wood is important. Not only does it have to be dry, but it also has to be very hard. You can also use dry fine sand to increase the friction.

Nice work! I didn't think that the sticks, rocks, and leaves would be sturdy enough to make a river net. But it worked!

Okay, get the spatula and bowl, they should be good enough to scoop up fish and small objects from your net.

So how did you light the fire?

Anyways, you may want to sleep in for the night. Your two new neighbors know where this place is, so it's not like you're stranded out here.

...Unless the coffin freeze-dries you and keeps you unconscious for over 12 months. Unlikely, though.

You have the materials, your shelter is still standing (which says good things about it), and the only problem is that you're starving, which shouldn't be a problem if Lil' Purp can find food for you to cook.

So first thing to do? Play some games with Lil' Purp. Test his abilities. Put some bran in hard-to-reach places (two feet above ground, in a small box, close to the fire) and see what he does. Once you have a rough estimate of his abilities, set out and find some food.

For that matter, how are you capable of making such high-quality equipment (fences, nets) out of simple sticks and stones and leaves?

Maybe you made things for a living before all this. But what has to do with making stuff and throwing things?

At least you finally have something to eat. Cook the fish and eat on your way to the other side. Put the net next to the river so someone else can use it.
