My name is Naomi Nakamura. And this is what I know of the events.

"I am here for the truth."

The man chuckles for a moment. The entire building... reeks of ozone. This room just reeks harder. And all these barrels... this can't be safe.

>"The truth... there ain't anything worth knowing here. The news are saying all there is to know."

He isn't hanging out in here for the sake of his health. And the truth isn't always newsworthy.

Ozone? That's caused by ionizing air. What does that have to do with the barrels?

Tell him that everyone has a tale to tell. Everyone has something worth knowing.

"'Truth' is not in the news this time."

The man just stays quiet. That's when the Central calls us.

"Alpha fourteen, this is Dispatch Central you copy?"
"Copy that Dispatch, this is Alpha-14."
"What in the name are you doing there, Alpha?"
"... I don't know, Dispatch; I heard about a call in the crisis hotline service, and Andrews was on his way here."
"... do I need to say it?"
"Dispatch--"
"You're firemen-- rescuers, not a 'shrink delivery service. Neither of you is even cleared for handling jumpers. Just pack your things before this gets out of control and everything blows up."
"Control? What??"

In the meantime, Andrews do not take his eye (camera?) off the man. He eventually says something again.

Well you see, when a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, they have intercourse and 9 months later a baby is born if the daddy doesn't protect himself.

"The 'jumper' moved a few barrels of reactor fuel with him. We're assuming he'll try to blow the whole thing up."
"So, this ozone smell..."
"... great. Its irradiating the air. The barrels's seals must be broken."

I don't immediately question how he moved the barrels.

"Why are you here?"
>"I asked first. Why are you here?"
"... attempt to get all people safe."
>"What?"

What a time for his speech impediment to be a problem...
"We work on rescue. We save people, its what we do--"
>"Then you better get everybody out of the building."
"... and we're responding to a call."
>"I made no calls."

He seems... awfully calm.

If those barrels are releasing radiation that would be dangerous to anyone without ingesting the stuff, he's already dead. He's SITTING on it. Has been for a while. Radiation poisoning beyond a certain point is irreversable...

Oh well, may as well find out why he killed himself, before his intestines start disintegrating.

Ask him why he's doing this.

Radiation hazard. *point* Why?

Wingman, evac. In line of fire from hazard.

(Systems safe from radiation?)

He'll fail, then. At no point in the cycle is nuclear fuel ever explosive.

Who knows, we might be lucky and it's just a pile of short-lived alpha emitters.

"Somebody cared enough to call.
Solo flight, wingman. Return to police."

"Some body care enough to call. Any one else in the building?"
>"... hell if I know. Shouldn't be anyone around by now."

That silences him for a moment. Dispatch also quieted down, but still connected. I can hear the radio silence.

"Wingman, fall back. Unit fly solo."
"... what?"
"Wingman in line of fire, nuke poison. Wingman must fall back."
"... but I can't just leave you behind."

I'm going to spend the next week in decontamination...

He might use conventional explosives to detonate the barrels, causing a massive cloud of radioactive particles to be spread out.

I'm not an expert but I believe that's called a 'dirty bomb'.
