The pokemon is an Eevee. Which gender is it? What does is look like?

Male, one of it's ears is shorter than the other.

It's a fine lady Eevee and it looks downright MAJESTIC.

Also could we be a shiny Eevee? I don't think any of the pokemon quest I have ever seen have had the main character be a shiny before... or even have a shinnies in them.

Eevee has hatched into a round, earthy chamber. There is a rounded exit, from which light appears to be streaming in. Eevee has no idea what's going on or where she is, but she knows that she's feeling extremely ambitious and she has to do something with this feeling right now!

What does Eevee do?

consume remains of egg for nourishment.

Grab egg between front paws, roll onto back, bat egg around adorably.

Frolic in safe forest, away from tall grass. Enjoy being alive!

Look for food. You're a newborn, you should be hungry.
