Ahh, the land of Praven. A lustrous place, of wide fields, and deep forests. The relatively small land is sandwiched between three neighboring kingdoms who dwarf it in both size and power. However, despite far out powering the small land, the three kingdoms left Praven alone, never attempting to invade, or conquer in any way, out of respect for it's king who was once a great hero to all of them... however.

That king is now dead. And the three kingdoms have invaded with zero hesitation. Led by their leaders, King Junolek of Tochin, once a mighty and feared warrior, carved out his own kingdom from barbarians and savages, now a force to be feared. Princess Remi, of Remi, exactly as self centered as you might imagine given the new name of her kingdom.. and of course, King Hastire of Ustehre (Oost-uh-hray) A man picked for royalty at birth, now on his way to death.. These three giants will undoubtedly crush little Praven to dust, in their ferocious desire to conquer.. That is, if it weren't for an unassuming fellow, who may very well go on to turn the tides of fate. If you don't get him killed, anyway. But before all that..

Firstly, from where do you hail?

Tochin: You will gain a bonus with other Tochin natives. You will be a more ferocious warrior. You will fail to know certain dandy trivialities such as table manners, and the such.

Remi: You will gain a bonus with other Remi natives. You will be more wealthy. You will be better known by merchants and lords. You will have an innate sense of superiority over others.

Ustehre: You will gain a bonus with other Ustehre natives. You will be slightly more well respected by royalty. (Whether they admit to it or not) You will insist upon sticking to the old ways.

Praven: You will be a Praven native! Fighting for your homeland. You will gain a bonus with other natives of Praven. You will be fighting for a most righteous cause. You will have a difficult time.. but it will be worth it. The true hero's route.

Distant Lands: You come from a distant, unknown land. Most people will judge you by your exotic appearance. You will know certain "Magics" that will come to your advantage.

But of course you come from distant lands! Mere chance would lead you, to the place that needs you most. Though you don't match the look of the people, you will certainly match their spirit! Hopefully. Although you come from a distant land, your people share similar customs, and reputations.. Who was your father?

A Nobleman: You gain social boosts from other nobles.

A Warrior: You are an inherently more powerful fighter.

A Merchant: You are thrifty, and better at persuading other merchants for sweet deals.

Merchant. The cheaper the gear, the better equipped we are to face off against threats.

Of course he was a merchant! Him sending you on that errand is what brought you to this land in the first place! He wished you to take exotic furs and fruits to the new lord of Praven!.. I suppose now that you've found out there IS no new lord of Praven.. You'll have to pettle to some nobles and the like to turn a profit... As you ride in your wagon, you idly wonder if you're near the first town yet..

"Excuse me! Guide-man! Guide-fellow! Guide-"

"I have a name, sir.. What do you want?"
