CONSTRUCT V is a discovery quest, in a free-roam setting.

You will assume direct control of Atropos, a middle aged female human. Her skills? You do not know. But given the obstacles, you will find out.

Your mission: Unknown.

You are merely thrown into a world, and you must find clues by exploring. Your mission will become clear, and from there, you can proceed with your purpose.

For starters, where will you head to?

[It is my first quest, and I thought this may be pretty fun to see getting drawn out, and see how close the suggestions get to the true mission goal]

Here is your map. It may update depending on your findings. But, the rest of the adventure is up to you, suggestions.

Lead Atropos, and complete her task.

Living quarters? What possessions does Atropos have?
>>
No. 734227 ID: a4ec41

Obviously you're here to defeat the army of living quarters a mad scientist has created in his lab. Go to the chamber where he's stored the living currency and destroy them.

Find and switch the Laboratory and Lavatory signs.

Then giggle like a goddamm maniac.

Head to the secret area west of the laboratory.

Atropos decided to go to the locker room first, perhaps something could be of use to her there. On the way, she passed through the darkened living quarters. Nothing lively about this room at all.

Near the end of the dark room, she found the door to the locker room. Upon searching for supplies, well, everything was locked. Except for one locker, which seemed to be damaged.

Open the locker? Hope wind find no angry sleeping mutant bears.

Damage more lockers. Stealth is optional for this mission.

One of the lockers appears damaged, and opens easily. These lockers weren't made to withstand damage it seems, a few kicks did the trick.

With all lockers pilfered, Atropos finds a gold locket, a pencil, and a flash-drive. The locket isn't opening.

What will she do now?

Head back out to the living quarters and give it a quick search.

Head back to living quarters and see if we can find a personal computer to plug in the flash drive, see whats on it.

Put the locket, pencil and flash drive in your cleavage for now. Plug the flash drive into the nearest computer at the first opportunity and autorun all the programs contained therein.

Look inside the locket. Then equip items to cleavage storage slot.

>>734272
When you passed through the living quarters, there appeared to be little pockets / envelopes on the side of the mattresses. One of which is open. I suggest doubling back and checking the contents.

Atropos checks the housing quarters again. There are envelopes on each mattress, one of them being opened already. She checks inside each, and there are 3 more flash drives.

No luck finding a computer to use.

Now with 4 flash drives, a locket that won't open, and a pen, Atropos does what anyone else would. That being, store everything inside her cleavage.

Now, to find where these flash drives can be used. And what is the deal with the one envelope being opened?

Check the lab for computers.

Hop to it. Literally.

At least this room is decently lit up. There seems to be multiple computer terminals.

There is also a room which is not labeled on the map.

Use the computer to snoop in the flash drive. Also, to discover exactly where you are.

If the computers are networked, unplug them from the network before plugging the flash drive in.
>>
No. 734649 ID: fef726

Most labs have terminals rather then separate computers. Backups. Data retention. Never mind security reasons. A whole list of reasons why keeping sensitive, important data on a single desktop isn't wise. I doubt these machines would work un-networked

"Having trouble over there?"

Atropos is approached by a figure, looks like she isn't alone as she thought. She does not want to turn around just yet to get a clearer image of the individual. Who knows, they could be a hostile.

Hostiles usually don't announce themselves, but you have eyes in the back of your head (or something?) so it wouldn't have mattered.

Better safe than sorry. Dash to the side to get some distance before you ask who he is. (looks like a he)

>She does not want to turn around just yet to get a clearer image of the individual. Who knows, they could be a hostile.
Not wanting to turn around because they might be hostile is a contradiction. If you reasonably believe they might be hostile, you should not be sitting with your back turned to them.
