That's pretty lucky, to find a ruin like that exposed of the surrounding sand! Or is it exposed because it's already been excavated and that's why everyone's talking about it?

Also, what are you doing in the middle of a desert? Are you all on your own?

Enduring the desert heat and dryness.
Seekin the treasure none yet knows.

YOU'RE ALL SUCH AMATEURS

Arthur, show your inventory. If you have any weapons, this is time for you to equip them. It's time to raid some ruins. Whether or not raiding was your original plan is irrelevant now. We must do this.

LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN.

If we can choose who we follow or get to view both: Dorothy, go inside to scout for us while arthur and the rest of us sort out a basic plan of action.

If we can’t choose or view both: arthur go inside and we’ll help you make up a plan on the go! Keep that torch and gun ready.

YOU'RE GOOD TO GO

Are you able to inspect the place for traps first before you go in? I don't think running into the ruins blindly would be a good idea. And please, DON'T tell Dorothy to go alone either. That'd be silly.

Tell me, how good are you at sword-fighting? If it's your thing, then be ready to equip the sword.

I don't think you should use the gun just yet. Shooting blindly into the ruins is NOT a good idea, you should be as QUIET as you can. That being said, I'd highly recommend you use either the sword or the pickaxe.

I'll say it again, don't let Dorothy go alone. You two are friends, and you're the one with the weapons. Make sure to not leave her behind.

Digging your own entrance into the tunnel would be BORING and TIME CONSUMING. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get through the traps without having to spend hours digging a new way into the ruins. And plus, that would be VERY BORING.

NOW RAID THOSE RUINS

There's a blade hidden behind the overhang above you, waiting to drop.

Try poking the step ahead of you with a stick, see if you can get it to trip it?

No. 896966 ID: 094652

That is a very sharp guillotine blade.

Prop up a stick to prevent it from chopping!

Yeah okay, I'm starting to feel this. Like, it's hard to feel sympathy when nameless adventurers actually strut into ruins while staring at camels instead of guillotine traps.
