They need to reset the game in order to make it winnable so that the alternate successful session can create the trollverse.

So if they are going to reset their universe, then how do we explain Jade's "grandson"?
>>
No. 13835 ID: bf1e7e

>>13834

They're going to leave the universe and go to the trolls' as they complete the scratch so that they don't cease to exist when it resets.
>>
No. 13844 ID: 20fc85

entire game reboots. Your character never existed cause YOU NEVER SAVED D:

But they continue to exist cause they leave the game to go play on the desktop.

eg: they'd eventually exist if they didn't escape, it's just that the current playthrough would basically never have happened.

I explain well?
>>
No. 13845 ID: 02fc78

What I want to know is, will they become their guardians for the next session?

If davebro was a master of time, that would explain a lot of Cal shenanigans And how his sword was badass enough to start the scratch.

Of course this is just wild speculation.
>>
No. 13846 ID: 8c73c8

everything that has happened DID happen. it's another time loop in this whole messed up loopy shit.it's why their session is barren, because the reseted session is the one that is supposed to make the new universe. they will not become the new guardians because the game makes guardians for the players with the ecto-lab. at most they will text message the other players of the new session.
>>
No. 13850 ID: 1854db

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the Scratch happens and most if not all of the kids escape to the troll session as planned. Then they activate the scratch in the troll session too, and escape BACK to the human session.

Then that becomes the alpha timeline that Scratch and Jack are having their conversation in. Remember, Jack is from the FUTURE. The Green Sun exists in the alpha timeline, and all other timelines can reach it. Thus, destroying the Green Sun via the kids' current timeline will stick even though their timeline resets.
>>
No. 13852 ID: cf244d

The Green Sun is outside of the timeline. It doesn't really matter what timeline someone comes from to get there, because as soon as you leave your incipisphere you're outside of tat shit anyway.

It's based off theories in the fandom which, in turn, are based off an answer to a question that hussie gave on his formspring. Essentially, he hinted that troll boobs have some sort of combat application to explain why they have them, since trolls don't nurse their young.
>>
No. 14129 ID: bf1e7e

>Essentially, he hinted that troll boobs have some sort of combat application to explain why they have them, since trolls don't nurse their young.

Actually, he just said 'iduno maybe they have a combat application or something it isn't really important' when he was directly asked why Aradia's ancestor had tits.

On his formspring, in answer to a question on God Tier immortality, Hussie said that god tier players can only die if their deaths are "heroic" or "just".

Which, one assumes, means they can only die by sacrificing themselves for something (if they're a "good" god) or at the hands of someone they've wronged (if they're an "evil" god). Though the qualifiers may be more vague than that.

Whoops! It wasn't on formspring, it was in the chatlog between Rose and Scratch a few pages before her grimdarkening. As such:

>TT: Godhood makes one immortal?
Yes.
>TT: A god tier will live forever, with no caveats?
No.
One will live forever, unless killed.
The death must be either heroic or just.
>TT: How are those terms defined?
Broadly, mysteriously, and according to the case of the individual.
One may be killed by opposing a corrupt adversary and die for a just cause, as through martyrdom, for instance. This would be heroic.
Or one may be subject to corruption, and slain by a hero. This would be just.
