We will find our rightful place. We will show them that we are strong. We will become one with the stars.

Those who mock us shall perish. Those that deny us will die. Those that join us...

The hostile target on the same floor as I am appears to be a stationary turret, most likely using armor piercing rounds. Since it is not shooting yet, it must not be equipped with motion tracking or sound receiving devices, but is swiveling its view around the room.

Sensors are reading HE-FRAG warnings on a hostile entity on the floor above. I would assume it has a grenade launcher, and is probably somewhat mobile.

I have a few moments before the turret can see me. Unless I am given a different order, I shall proceed with the previously queued action: "Shoot It."

are they bouncy grenades or direct contact grenades?

anyway, plan is get a good angle on it from down here and then throw the sign at it, then jump up and shoot it.

They are direct contact grenades. Also, I believe that the device that shoots it is indeed motion tracking. As soon as anything moves in front of it, it will fire a grenade down a preset path. The velocity and distance that it could fire can be different for every robot.

There's a slight discoloration of the floor almost right where the grenade detonated. Checking logs, the discoloration was there before said detonation. It might be a secret compartment of some sort, or something else useful. Investigate.

Also, would it be possible to salvage the grenade launcher off the bot, to upgrade our weapondry?

Describe the object to the lower left, and finally, investigate the blue console/button to the upper right of the room.

>There's a slight discoloration of the floor almost right where the grenade detonated. Checking logs, the discoloration was there before said detonation. It might be a secret compartment of some sort, or something else useful. Investigate.

Good find! Under the loosened plating was a compartment with projectile grenades designed for my rifle!

[HE FRAG]x2 Acquired.

>Also, would it be possible to salvage the grenade launcher off the bot, to upgrade our weaponry?

Negative! My own rifle is already equipped with a grenade launcher attachment, and the grenades from the hostiles here are incompatible with my own.

>Describe the object to the lower left, and finally, investigate the blue console/button to the upper right of the room.

It is a table with miscellaneous equipment present. Namely a stapler, a book, and a mug.

The blue button will activate the ladder above me should I decide to move to the next room.

It is more of a device that uses other means to fire weapons. I use sensors within the gun that has been created specifically for my use, and I am also capable of using the conventional trigger. I have no way to use their chassis as a weapon other that to deliver blunt force trauma. But a bullet generally works better.

[Rope] Acquired.

It looks like a rope to me. I generally am pretty good at falling long distances and not dieing, but I suppose you can not pass up the resourcefulness of binding material.

Now then, I will need a plan of action to get past this conundrum.

Haul the table over and drop the table on the turret. If it fires on reflex it will hit the door and get caught in its own blast. If not the table may land in a way that obscures its firing line, also to your advantage. Rope could be used to further manipulate this outcome.
>>
No. 246009 ID: b14128

I say, blast the drone you have access to, jump back over to the other side, and then push the table off the ledge onto the pressure plate. Get a sense of what the drone's pre-set firing angle is, and then attack it from a safe position.
>>
No. 246011 ID: b14128

>>246009
Actually, speaking of 'safe' positions, don't you have the angle to shoot at the drones from on the ledge, if you stand back from the edge a little? (Assuming the doors are open of course)
>>
No. 246067 ID: 1854db

Shoot the drone we can shoot. Then use its body to activate the pressure switch.
