You're still NAMELESS, and on your quest to make a name for yourself (literally) you climbed a giant colorful tree, fell into a hole in the middle of it, got totally wasted on psychadelic tree sap and started hallucinating a girl and then inside of the tree you found the girl being held as some kind of prisoner? And then this androgynous lady. Who is apparently offering you an explanation.

Your thoughts aren't very well illustrated, but you try not to let that get you down. It's the content that counts, right? Right?

don't even give a fuck about the explanation
just flex your muscles while saying you'll want an explanation later, check out my pecs.
if we're gonna be serious, the tomboy lady is the one imprisoning the hallucination lady, right? Ask if this is one of those cliche "she's really evil and just using her beauty to manipulate you into freeing her where she'll fuck up the world."
that shit turns up all the time. Say we should risk the chance, free her, stop her evil empire, kill her for good instead of having to do this stupid prison shit and probably end up named and laid in the process, possibly even learning a lesson in the end.

For some reason, Nameless' strikes and manly charms don't seem to be working. This might have something to do with Nameless being high off his ass on weird tree sap, but it's probably the lady's fault. Maybe she doesn't see quality when it's flailing ineffectually at her. She does grin at it after awhile, though.

"Alright, alright. I'll explain everything. This tree, myself, why you're here. But we'll have to start at the beginning..."

Is this backstory or is there another thread.
Also, author you should choose a name so we can recognize you. If you leave Name blank then it puts in "Suggestion" which is a cutesy way of saying anonymous

You got up on the tree. Fell down in a hole. Met the tree-bitch.

God. What else is there to explain!?

try to find the way out of here and leave the woman to her nonsensical yapping.

Let's see...

Ah! Here we go.

Before time was time, before much made sense at all really, there was formless chaos. It was everything and nothing! It churned alone in the nothing and everything until the first semblence of order, and from that order came four children.

They were pieces of the reality that had become real, given thought and form by their function. They set out to order much of the chaos, making something from nothing and reducing everything to possibility. It took much of their powers and drained their strength, and once they were done, they made themselves a place to rest.

Their resting home is our world, Nameless one. They each worked together to build it - fancy teamwork for cosmic powers, in my humble opinion. One rent the sky from the earth. Another dug trenches and holes and filled them with water, making the seas and lakes and rivers. Another raced around the world, creating winds and moving the sun and the moon to chase each other forever. The last made the world fertile and verdant, filling it with plants and animals.

...That's what my research tells me, anyway. It's not like anyone was alive back then. The next part is a little trickier...

>>320315
Oh wow, you're pretty clever! That's how alot of these things go though, right? Let's see-

Right, right. The tricky part. Alot of theories and myths branch off from here. Some say it was out of loneliness, some say it was some sort of cosmic will. Those old beasts, the ones older and greater still than any that exist today, were made by the gods! Blessed things, with the power to...

...constructs or actual, saptient creatures? Well...

...laws and duties enforced....

...Almost custodians...

...Technically more like gods than the four first beings...

>Listen to the entire story! A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, and sometimes that's listening to a bunch of words from some woman you barely know.

So these 'gods' made life as we know it! The races, the beasts, the little things, the big things. They carved out the geometry of the world, made it wholesome and liveable for little things, nutured civilization...Most of these texts credit them with everything from the written word to farming techniques, but I'm sure that some of that is our own creation.

I know a little secret, though.

The gods were so fond of some of their creations that they touched them, and marked them to their bones with the weight of destiny. This blessing - or curse, depending on how you feel about it - is passed down in the blood. That's why I brought you there, Nameless one. Your heavy fate is ripe to be plucked, and I waited for this very day to ask of you a somewhat small favor.

"What if I say no?"
"What do I get in return?"

"Why should I believe you? You haven't told me anything about yourself."

Gotta ask for reasons and a price, man. We're not her dog to be doing as she wishes.

Our wedding. Funeral could be anyone's, so long as we're motivated to attend. Could be our enemies, but the funeral of an ally often is better for the story. And we're unlikely to be invited to the funerals of our enemies.

Ask if saving the world provides ample opportunities to get with ladies (it does, I just imagine it might make this lady laugh a little) and that you have to get your name first, then we save the world.

Well, if it's destiny, it's likely we can't not end up saving the world at some point.
