Alright, so your name is Voxelle! Now things get a bit more complicated. Before I give you the Orb, we need to know your personality and character traits.

PICK 2 POSITIVE TRAITS AND 2 NEGATIVE TRAITS

POSITIVE
Observant: You can see things before others do.
Stormcaller: You start with basic lightning magic.
Adamant: The strength of your metal body is higher than most.
Historian: You can provide useful information about the Cylosian Desert and the Wasteland.
Witty: Conversations tend to go in your favor.
Mechanic: Your mask will almost never break, and you can repair machines.
Brave: You are not easily intimidated.
Surveyor: You know your way around the desert better than almost anyone.

NEGATIVE
Clumsy: Your mask seems to break down at every turn.
Lost: You cannot use maps and are directionally challenged.
Obstinate: Conversations tend to go poorly.
Timid: You are intimidated by the simplest things.
Blank: You cannot learn magic and cannot use magical items to their full potential.
Ignorant: You know next to nothing about local history.
Soft: You bruise easily and your punches have no force behind them.
Oblivious: Chances are you won't see it coming before it smacks you in the face.

Oh gosh, this is the best thing ever you don't even know. So polite and flattering!
>>358607
Ummm, yes, I am made of metal. All Cylosians are...You don't know what a Cylosian is?
Cylosians are beings of solid metal that move and think like any organic being. Most of us live in smallish communities throughout the wasteland, although roamers are not unheard of. When a cylosian dies due to either raiders, monsters, frost, or other causes, the bodies are reclaimed, melted down, and set aside for couples to use to make new people. The actual forging is done by the town's Metallurgist, and the mind and personality is given to the newly formed Cylosian by the Matriarch. Ummmm, I don't really know more than that... Mechanics are my thing, not metallurgy or mindsetting.

Well, I was just going to go back to town.
I need to make a new mask, this one is getting old. Maybe I'll let you try out the design? Also, If you'd like, I can bring you to the town elder. He know's more about local history than anyone else!

Fine, fine, I'll bring him back...
HURK! He's heavy...
My mask? It's more than just decoration! It provides protection, which is important in the wastes. It has a shoulder-mounted battery pack, a vocal unit usually located on the upper-left quadrant, and at least one ocular lens. Most have an olfactory filter, but only those who know how these things work get an aura reader. You probably saw that in action earlier, how Anbar lit up bright red right as he was about to strike.
Anywho, there's no taboo with faces or masks! It's just more practical to wear one when out of the safety of the town walls. To leave town without one is considered foolhardy and dangerous. Our masks are very personal items, and everybody builds their own at some point. Most people don't wear their masks in town, except for the matriarch, who wears it as a sort of symbol of office sort of thing.
Now why don't you tell me what you want the mask to look like on the way back? Or do you like it as is?

It all began a couple thousand years ago.
No records currently exist as to where the Progenitor came from, and he wouldn't say. He was the god of the storm and god of the machine, though he went by the title of Despair. When Ragnarode appeared on this earth, he set upon his task of uniting the world under one banner, his banner. As he finished with what is present day Singuu, he lifted a gargantuan tower from the sea. But as he stood at the top of the tower, the city of Neotis shook with an unstoppable fire, and He met His nemesis, Hope. Hope wanted to unite the world as well, but with fire and death She would purge the world of what she percieved as imperfections. The whole world shook as they made battle! In the end though, Ragnarode convinced Hope to build up, instead of burn down. She went back to the ruins of Neotis to salvage what little was left.

It wasn't long after that the Humans left the planet alltogether. They werent specific as to where they were going but we thing they must have found a new planet to call their own, one with more valuable resources or something. But as they left, Ragnarode revealed that he had brought his Sister, Arcuri, with him and that he planned for her to rule the planet in the Human's absence. She created her people, the Gwandians, and they settled in the northern continent they called Singuu. Everything was going fine, until the people she created started coming out.... wrong. They called themselves the Rihnans, and they were lead by a man by the name of Zakam. He started a revolution against the Singuans, and marched towards Her palace. They were, however, stopped by Ragnarode, who banished them to the Neotian ruins, which they named Rihn. A decade later, Zakam lead a second crusade. The instant they left Rihn's borders, the Neo Arcadian tower light up like a beacon, lighting striking about it. The sea was vaporized almost instantly, leaving behind the Cylosian wasteland. From the base of the tower marched the Cylosians, recently created by the Progenitor. They fought the Rihnans into bloody submission, and forced them back into the ruins. The Cylosians were left to roam the desert, seperating Rihn and Singuu for thousands of years.

So Hope stayed somewhat less of a bitch (Amazing, since we've been trying to fix her since she was a little girl), Ragnarode screwed up so badly that he had to boil an ocean and assemble a sentient army to stabilize things.

Ugh, we're going to have to re-terraform parts of the planet and fix a broken species, aren't we.
>>
No. 359712 ID: b6edd6

So when you say
>The sea was vaporized almost instantly
do you mean literally vaporized (which would mean the vapor stays around as clouds or re-condenses), or did the tower actually un-make the water (permanently getting run of it).
>>
No. 359716 ID: 35e1a0

seems Arcuri made the Gwandians a different way. perhaps they reproduced the human way. but if they were made of a rare material they would of lost density in the members as they increased in number perhaps leading to the instability.

359855

So, do you have any questions?
A couple. First, how did the tower get rid of the ocean? Was it literally vaporised or did it completely unmake the ocean?
Well see, it was a bit of both. It rained for, lets see here, something close to 40 days. But there wasn't enough to refill itself.
Also, what happened to Hope? Where did she go?
Ah, her. Well, she took a liking to this group of humans from Neotis, a real isolationist crowd. They left earth on their ship, the Wings of Life, and went in the opposite direction of the others. Don't know if they managed to find what they were looking for. Anything else?
No, that will be all, thank you. Thanks for your time.

Unless you personally have greater combat experience with one over the other (in which case obviously get the one you are proficient with), then choose the spear.

However, is the spear 100% metal? With a sword we could run electricity through it, combining both physical AND magical attack into a single hit for double damage. If the spear is wooden with a metal tip then this is not going to work.

Ooooh, questions.
Well, we can eat about anything. The only major organ we have is our core, which is a furnace-like structure in our chest that burns down whatever we eat.
The nights out in the wastes are pretty cold, and if our bodies go below freezing, they stop moving and our minds die. It's probably more complicated than that, but I don't know much about the biology of inorganics.
And yes, we do sleep. I think it's because we were made to look and act like humans.

A psychic with sapient blood goes on a quest to destroy a god-touched being and eventually banish a evil god from her world.
A saga of a military officer know for his revolutionary uses of magic and technology, his special relationship with the gods and his way with women(though he has but five wives)
A demon gains enough power to escape from his prison and sets out on a quest to destroy the descendents of those that imprisoned him, in preparation he makes himself king of the barbarians of the south and devourers obscene amounts of magic.
One you might like, A powerful A.I. sends its minion across space and time to cleanse a planet of meatbags eventually the minion succeeds and befriends other A.I. from other worlds who have done likewise and they all live happily ever after.

I try not to draw attention to myself.
>YOU THERE. GIRL.
...fuck.
>THE STORMGOD DOES NOT WISH FOR YOU TO DIE HERE, AND EXPECTS YOUR PRESENCE SOON. ALL YOU NEED DO IS SURVIVE. A DISTRACTION WILL BE PROVIDED IN DUE TIME. TAKE THE ORB, AND SURVIVE.
He rolls the orb towards me and leaves.
What should I do? I'm not a warrior, I'm a tinkerer! A mechanic! This stuff is kind of beyond me...

What you do is survive, what other choice is there? Die?
You fought for your life before, this is the same only on a larger scale.
A messenger of your god told you a distraction will be provided, have faith.
Don't be complacent, you will need to fight for yourself, and you will need to get out of here by yourself. All you are going to be given is an opportunity, a single chance.

Hours pass, and a large Rihnan comes to my cell, unlocking my shackle.
>Alrighty then, it's your time to shine! Go out there and give us a good fight! You'll be up against our top gladiator, Bataann. He hasn't fought one of you Ironfolk before, so he's looking foreward to it. C'mon now, show some ENTHUSIASM! HA HA!

Quick question; Can you arc energy through your blade and metal in general? Because if you noticed, his main weapon is a ball and chain which he wrapped around his arm. Dodge the first attack and surge some energy through it.

A truly superior being wouldn't fall into the claptrap of vanity. If they want something removed they remove it, if they want something moved they move it. They act how and when they choose.

If eating animals was a matter of superior/inferior, a wolf's predation would be evil. The reason why animal husbandry is not evil (aside from arguable animal cruelty) is that the animals involved are not people. It is the personhood (or absence thereof) of the killed that counts, not the difference between killer and killed.

You sort of went on a whole genocidal spiel to exterminate all opposing races and claimed your species superior. I think you also somehow used us as a conduit for your power before taking a knock to the melon by the opponent's flail and blacking out before anything actually happened.

You say you have softer flesh but it seems your skeletal structure is pretty sturdy. No brusing? ...Can you even bruise?

Do you even have an equivalent to blood?

you started thinking of a being as your lesser, calling forth Hope's corruption. her primary powers were fire and being a bitch. simply put, you got her personality but because you are not her you lacked the raw power to back it up so you through tactics out the window and got ganked.

Hey wait a minute, shouldn't a fire sword be capable of providing light?
I'd be alarmed that you're so badly ill-prepared if you don't have a flashlight or something. If you really have nothing else though then fire has been providing light in dark places since before the invention of writing.
