This is a continuation of a seemingly dead quest.

It's been quite a long hiatus- apologies for that.
Hopefully we can continue strong and carry on with this quest. I will try my best to update regularly. <3

Please read over the previous chapter before continuing~

You finally muster up enough COURAGE and CONFIDENCE. You are now ready to walk into the store to greet the lovely STORE CLERK, who you have been very fond of for some time now. You're a man! You have nothing to fear!

well then just go in there then if you get cold feet you could always just find the aisle with the coffee to buy yourself some time before you do find the ball to talk to her.

You finally decide to enter the stor- but wait! It seems that the store is closed!

Just how LONG have you been standing outside of the store?! How much TIME has passed?

You must have been too busy trying to gain all that confidence, to notice that you've been standing there for hours! Possibly days!

Well... It's night now, and the store is closed. The weather is nice and cool. You supposed you could always try again in the morning.

You DID have some work to do- that probably by now has left quite a few unhappy customers.

You don't even know what time of night it is. Man do you feel stupid. All of this because you wanted some coffee, and to see a pretty girl. Golly.

What ever should you do?

Considering the sheer quantity of time you've been standing there I don't think you have a job anymore. Hell, I'm surprised you are alive. Do you not eat or drink?

Well, There's nothing left to do but head home, Perhaps you can solve the mystery of the disappearing food items? If you aren't too tired that is.

say fuck it no point in worrying about something you can't change go home and get something to eat. If anyone ask where you were say you were sick and if they call bull crap they saw you hanging in front of the store for however long just say you were trying to get some rest and you sleep walk from time to time.

Do you know where the clerk lives? You spent all that time mustering up the courage to speak to her it just wouldn't be right to let it go to waste like this.
>>

You know, she saw you standing there, staring ahead, as if a vegetable. Considering the unspecific nature of how long you were standing there staring she possibly went by you several times.

In fact, since it seems to me you were there a VERY long time, she must've at some point stopped and wondered what you were thinking, just standing there like that staring off into space.

It may not have been much of a victory, standing outside of the store like an idiot for god knows how long- but there's always tomorrow!

You decide to head home, maybe enjoy a nice bath, and get some shut-eye.

While walking home, you suddenly trip forward! You should pay more attention to where you're walking!

As you fall over, you spot a figure right behind you. A fellow who was walking in the other direction. He had a strong stride and posture. Sparkling with CONFIDENCE.

He laughs. Taking his cigar out of his mouth with a large puff of smoke, he apologies for PURPOSELY tripping you. He continues to talk in a pompous rich voice. Mostly rambling on about himself and how great he is- and how poor and dumb you are for getting in his way.

You feel a bit offended.

Okay small wonder time to put this chump in his place.
Tell that blind sling blade to watch where he is walking or we might PURPOSELY slap that dumb sneer off of his banana slope of a face! Talk about tall dark and annoying.

Or at least react in a more intelligent way than physical violence. Remember our strengths and weaknesses.

You have quite the urge to show this wise-guy a thing or two- but before you could get a word out, he walks off laughing in a hardy manner. Even if you were to pick a fight, you're much too tired to do anything anyway! You would have won though, at least that's what you tell yourself as you start to walk off in anger.

As you walk home, you begin to think less about how angry you are, and more about how tired you are. You have been awake for far too long and need some shut-eye. Relaxing in your nice comfy bed, in your cozy small, but spacious house.

You still need to solve the mystery of why all your food has been disappearing the past few days, but you can save that for a new morning. As well as all the odd jobs you were meant to do around town. Surely you must make up for your absence! Yes! You decide to do your best in the morning.

Maybe you can even finally try to talk to the lovely STORE CLERK you have a crush on.

As you get closer to your home, you bump into another fellow, one you've met previously, Mr. R.

Mr. R. greets you, stating what a lovely night it is for a stroll. What a glorious FULL MOON there is out tonight, he adds.

You are much too tired to fully engage in the conversation or what he is saying. He rambles on about.. something about KIDS and a GOLDEN DAWN. You really have no clue as to what any of it means.

You snap out of your sleep-deprived state long enough to hear only some of what Mr. R. is saying. You don't hear most of it, but from what you do hear, it seems he feels sorry for you. You wonder what for? He then offers for you to spend the night at his place. What an odd request, you think to yourself.

You say goodnight to Mr. R. and finally make it home. You wonder what he could have meant. Why did he feel sorry for you and offer you a place to stay?

Just how long did you stay outside that store? Did something happen to the house? Was rent due? Are we evicted? Is our house for sale? What could have happened?

You walk onto your front lawn towards your home. You can't wait to get some sleep and resolve everything in the morning. But... oh..

Son you have issues. Seeing as your life is slowly devolving into a bizarre nightmare you might as well go along with it.

So track down Mr R and maybe enjoy his hospitality. If something horrible does not come up maybe you can get enough sleep or whatever to make sense of things.
>>

Oh also the last time you saw this Mr. R fellow it was when you were leaving your house with the door open with him next to it.

So try not to get murder/raped.

Well look on the bright side, you don't have to worry about who was stealing all your food now. The entire house is just gone though? That's really weird. Maybe you can stop by the courthouse or the police department tomorrow to sort this out, but for now, try to spend the night at Mr. R's.
