You try opening the door. Gosh, it's pretty dang hard to open it when there's no knob. Or try to open it, since it totally IS locked.

You take a quick second to look through your pockets. You have: a LIGHTER, a CRUMPLED $5 BILL, and an EMPTY LANYARD.

You look through the desk. Two of the drawers are locked, while the other two have a bunch of miscellaneous junk. You can take a closer look at some of this stuff if you want to.

Acquire gun. Get a closer look at anything in that drawer that isn't a pen.

What's that thing on the left in the bottom drawer? A VCR?

Acquire Gum (chewing) AND Gun (pistol). Collect any bullets you find, but do not load the pistol unless you confirm enemies. You don't want to shoot someone by accident.

Use Lanyard on as many items with hooks or loops as you can, to create the Lanyard keychain. Grab the two boxes and store whichever one is lighter in your inventory.

You hook up the lanyard to all four pens, as well as the gun. You take a piece of gum and chew it and mumble the thing, or whatever. You then stow it in your inventory.

The Swiss army knife does have a screwdriver. It has three of them, actually. It has a Phillips head, a flat head, and a hex head. You stow it in your inventory as well.

You stow the LOCKBOX into your inventory.

The only thing that you haven't examined from the drawer is a flashlight. The other box seems to be a desktop PC.

You take a peek under the desk. Wow!! there sure is a lot to take in under here.

Take the floppy disk, but put it somewhere safe if you need an extra inventory slot. You don't need the flashlight yet.
