And Ana, I know to you that meeting with Cela seemed like maybe... an hour? To us... it was much longer. Like... 15 years longer. We bore witness to another version where due to our failures, we saw you join the cult as general, and take over most of North America. Logan hated you, 93 was gone, and I don't know what happened to the kids. In the end you were dying. Something was wrong as you chose to become immortal, but something in you was failing. To save yourself, and to cut yourself off from your past, you would've killed Dreamwalker... I stopped you. I convinced you that what you were doing was wrong and you wanted to take everything back... And then the being that was responsible for everything... killed you and reset the universe. It killed off millions including the two kids you had... I still feel... I can't even describe that feeling about that...

The being that killed you is like us, only if we are a flicker of who we once were, she is a forest fire. She is a version of you, but she calls herself Essence of life. She even took someone from that other world, Logan's Daughter. She hates me, wants to kill me. The funny thing is, I don't blame her. I don't even hate her. Essence even tried to do it all again, but she was stopped by Laura and Dreamwalker. He had to go through it like we did. I can only imagine what he went through. Do you remember Laura? She saved you from all those bad thoughts? Those thoughts were caused by Essence. I thought Laura had killed Essence but she doesn't die though... I don't know how we can stop her. But we are going to try. I won't let her change you from who you are.

Anyway, Essence fooled us again, pretending to be some spirit of karma, and tried to get us to either go back to that other future or stay here. I don't think she could have sent us back anyway. We chose to stay here with you, but that wasn't her intent. She wanted to make Logan's daughter feel justified in her hate of us. She kidnapped someone... someone I know... to save his life... I... volunteered for some kind of game. I'll spare you the details of it as I don't fully understand it myself. But needless to say... this was the result *gestures with stump arm*

And it didn't matter... They killed him anyway... But somehow... I don't believe it. Or maybe I just don't want to. Essence broke me... I relived my worst memories... and she only encouraged them... mentally torturing me... I don't really know how I got away... maybe she just got bored. But I thought I heard something. A voice... I didn't recognize it, but it was somehow... wrong. Like it didn't belong.

And that brings us up to now...

I do know that no mother who really cares for their children would EVER willingly give them up. First off all, the only reason I know about who you were and how you know Derek is this obviously takes place in the past, so currently Ana is talking with Logan right now at that shop. God time shenanigans are fucking weird. But more importantly we know Logan doesn’t kill him, he threatens him and holds him over a ledge after kidnapping Root, but Root was laughing, remembering a memory of the time you saved him from his sisters torment, right before he was dropped. So I know he doesn’t die here.

But more importantly, we also know he isn’t above using other people to pretend they are him and he is someone else. For all we know one of those guards could be the real Root and this is another body double. I mean he just let slip that this is what will happen later if he is dead. Derek I have a feeling you are being tested. If he lives you live, if he dies well... I think we can put the facts together.

Okay look, the math and facts just don’t add up here. If that dinner party is happening soon, like tonight as this person was saying, then Clara is either waking up from it now which would be a pretty interesting conincidence, or Root has got his time mixed up as well. On top of this we also saw his face in the car with his driver. So again either he had makeup on which I doubt because that level of pain and mixing enough blenders and shit into open wounds like that is gonna lead you to some serious fucking infections and a major amount of unbearable pain... you get my point, things just aren’t adding up here.

I know him. He was a friend of mine back in my time. It’s true he is a narcissist, I didn’t know he taught Root though. I suppose it makes sense however, it does explain a few things. First of all I know he is trustworthy. He subscribes to the idea of a gentleman, he never says anything that he doesn’t believe he can do. But in time something happens that weaken his bond with the cult. Dante will either leave and kill a bunch of people or stay and... I don’t really know. I don’t even really know why he left, when I asked him he never told me. But I know tensions between him and Root are probably still rising or are going to start rising. He especially didn’t care for Lorence, one time he hissed when someone mentioned his name. I think he was the trigger for it all. It’s funny I’ve never seen him so talkative before, it’s good to see him happy.
