The West is a tough place for a woman. The storm mothers sink ships that carry women, and between pirates, sea monsters and storms claiming men by the dozen, more than three quarters of the population in most places is female!
Red-haired women can dodge the wrath of the storm mothers however, and the number of women means most positions are open to them.

Wasn't sure so I played it safe though to my knowledge isn't the only things in exalted that don't age are, well, the lunar and solar exalted with the solar ones wiped out long ago and only now are coming back and the Scarlet Empress who was an elemental blooded who managed to super charge herself by claiming the throne. Not counting gods or titans obviously.
