Kisses are situational. It is often difficult to tell how you should kiss someone. With practice you can develop an intuitive knowing for it, but for this particular situation, the right way to kiss someone is bowl him over onto the ground and kiss him on the mouth.

It seems that he expects everyone in this timeline to act how they did in his timeline. Odd. Well, tell him strait up that in this universe, people arnt the same as in his. Because of that, you have honestly no earthly idea what he is talking about. Furthermore, there is no way we could know what he is taking about because it would be completly out of context in this timeline.

Oh dear, Nirblim-lich is as confused as we are. xD

In his past, you had another less... omnipotent significant other, and she made us promise not to tell anyone ever about that "secret wedding". So we can't tell you, sorry.

We can say that Nirblim is a lot more bitter than the one you know. He was also obsessed about finding his own sister, though now he might be different since he found a way to save the entire tribe. He's also more than 40 years old, for what that's worth, because we advised him not to become a lich until he needed to and kobolds live about that long.

Only other advice I can think is... don't frustrate him if at all possible. If he gets frustrated he starts thinking everything is "stupid" and gets all irritable and needlessly violent and stuff.

>>174094
So then why is she attacking Nir? Wait... Was her speech exactly like our Mary Shaw?
>>
No. 174109 ID: a85626

Mary's speech wasn't nearly as one-track when we saw her past. Perhaps something happened to her, or Nirblim did something to her. (She does see Nirblim as some kind of god these days after all.) All she had was the "ability to influence" someone's dream, not the ability or the inclination to enslave them through it.

It's too bad we can't control this strange sort of time travel. We're but dandelion seeds in the wind.

Oh, also, Rojo. Your talk with Nirblim went swimmingly. Splendidly. So don't kick yourself too much over it. He really is that acerbic, if it's possible to imagine. It could have gone a lot worse. You're still on speaking terms with him, and you're not fighting for your life in an epic battle.

>>
No. 174120 ID: a85626

>>174117

It's possible now that Nirblim knows Mary Shaw is whacked out looney he might try to do something to stop her. Among other things, he'll be oh so pleased to learn that she's giving Nirblim nightmares. But probably best to stay well out of the way of that if you can.

We also know Mary Shaw is a black mage, and her dream involvement is her characteristic special ability, so that's good information.

Also now we know that either Nirblim sucks at change history, or there is another time traveller at work here. We also know that neither Neophyte nor Androgyn is impossible to walk past without being attacked by horrible nightmare fuel magic. So that means we don't need to freeze the entire city and kill them on sight. Otherwise yeah it's true, not many leads.

Ravenfolk(?):"Ryth is corrupted. She's no longer any use of the god of resurrection. Amaterasu sent me to pick a new candidate out of all the white mages. You're one of the lucky ones. Of course this has something to do with Mary Shaw. This is the most awesome quests of awesome ever. You should totally take him up on his offer.

Also if he's six billion years old then he wouldn't have had lungs to wheeze with back then in the first place, so either way he's yanking your chain. A six billion year old god would be like... protoplasm or something...

Anyway, help him up if he stumbles or looks unsteady. Otherwise get ready for this once and a lifetime opportunity.

Plus if you say no and the other 6000 fail, then you'll be dead anyway when the world goes kaboom, so you might as well.

I think someone's fucking with time, because we spirits keep getting pushed around in time for some reason, forwards and backwards and sideways. And there are some other spirits apparantly, or maybe just us in our future, that take our places during blank spots. Plus didn't you notice the lich looked a lot like Nirblim, and was named Nirblim? The lich is Nirblim from another timeline, who somehow ended up in his own past, and changed history in order to stop his village from being killed in the first place. the moon is just a giant ball of rock that is very very very high up. it spins around the world. without it the waters of the world would be still and lifeless. i suggested the moon because you could see the earth from it. seeing the entire thing is astounding. also it would be very original and unique. anyone can go to a town for a date, but the moon?

Just a giant ball of rock?

JUST a giant ball of rock?

The moon is an incredibly huge sphere formed of a terrible collision splitting the planet in twain back when the earth was still molten and glowing. The planet and its smaller half were knocked into a dizzyingly fast spin because of it, bringing about the days and nights that last for 1 day, not for months, and thus enabling all of life to exist at all! The moon is mostly rock, cooled rock as it being smaller than the earth has cooled faster over the eons, and pock marked with craters from where space rocks crashed into the moon, shielding the earth from them. The unimaginable time spent under this barrage has covered its surface in a fine layer of dust. Moon dust, if you will, that to this day has never seen a mortal footprint indent its surface.

I would never call it a giant rock. It's the sister of sunlight. The daybringer. The tide puller. It's the moon!

That said, the moon is really cold and you can't breathe there, and the sunlight is deadly (like how it would be on a mountain taller than any mountain you've been on) so it probably wouldn't make a great picnic spot. I still say a town full of Nedynvor off in the mountains somewhere would be suitably impressive.

>>
No. 184007 ID: 1ac39d

yes, the first course is to be able to do 1000 overhead slashes with it in a row, no breaks. just raise it over your head and swing it as hard as you can in front of you. this get's your arms and hands used to swinging it. trying anything else wouldn't work right because your arms aren't accustomed to it.

then obviously you need to train so you can punch faster, so that next time you see him you can actually hit him. best way to do that is to make it harder for you to do it. have someone tie a bunch of rocks to your claws and then just do whatever. after a few days you take the rocks off and your arms will go faster.
