Sealed.
Trapped.
Sent hurtling through time.

Once a hive, and now a lone being.
Called 'Evil', named 'dissenter', abjured away from your lone goal.Trapped forever in this damnable box.

By a little goddamn fucking girl! I WILL FIND THEM AND KILL THEM!

...er, as soon as I escape. All I have is this little damn Orb someone placed in here with me...

I'VE GOT IT.

I shall take my cult, if the time comes, and do this operation on them. I will use my own tactical ability to have them function not as hundreds of individuals, but as one being. An army like that... well, it's quite powerful.

Generally, people forming a shield wall will also be given spears to break a charge. A better model might be

Cavalry>standard infantry>pikers>cavalry

Archers are quite distinct, functionally, from these groups, and don't fit in with them. Shield walls don't actually do much against archers if there's more than one group of them. Nothing much short of a full-on turtle formation will help at that point.

Of course, the perfect warrior is a dragoon with spear, sword, mace, and bow, and is great at using all of them.

....you said the enhancements are in the armor, right?

Do you still have the armor from the first knight? Or know roughly where it is? It seems something handy to slavage and integrate into either your troops, or wear it yourself, as these knights seem to have a perfect track record of making their way to you.

You should probably look into some kind of cloaking thing, yeah.
Although that might just make them wander around your castle slaughtering minions.

Wouldn't it be too weighted down, and lack much in the way of defence?

Unless you could find a way of launching one right into the middle of a melee.

Armor, of course. And a shield of some sort.

>Unless you could find a way of launching one right into the middle of a melee.
>Dragoon
Um, yeah.

And most weapons aren't that heavy, actually. The mace might be, but even so, as long as these weapons are worn properly when not in use, armor is a much bigger weight problem. I would suggest Half-plate for optimal utility. Of course, such versatile warriors would require significant t investment, and if we wanted to truly minimize deaths, full plate would be entirely justified.

Thumpers can and were thrown into combat when the Altan made war.

Being able to create soldiers from dead bodies made the Operaters realize it was silly and we stopped warring after a brief period of conflict... up until recently, when the humans took Mars from us.

At any rate, I will use the Crying Knight to capture more armor of this sort, having him lead the way to the monastary.

Have your minions sabotage those ballistas before the attack. Some cutting on the rope while they're unloaded (which they should be most of the time) and they should break as soon as they try to load them to defend against you.

An excellent plan. I give the Scouts some small knives and they set to work at dusk.

Success! The Ballistae will now fail hilariously when used.

I am now one day from arrival.

If the bunkers are where their bunks are, send thumpers through the wall straight to there, during the night. Slaughter them before they have a chance to get there rune-armor on. The Crying Knight can follow through the hole they made.
Diceys should go over the north wall nearer the Library, thus surrounding them.

Our own brilliant personage can fly along the walls, dealing with those already armored. Our mental abilities will prove decisive in that theater.

Shouldn't we send something sneakier than thumpers to deal with the sleepy ones first?
>>

We could send the Diceys first, I suppose. But rapidity of slaughter takes precedence over stealth in my mind, I'd rather send everything at once.

also, the thumpers have a fair chance of simply bringing the barrack room down on their heads, killing all inside immediately.

Even if the roof falls, there's no guarantee that the people under it are dead. They are pretty much out of the fight though, so we don't really need to do anything differently.

Dropping the roof might be useful, but I'm here to show them how worthless their lives are, not steal their shit.

The attack begins at night. Several minutes ahead of Ziz, myself, and the Thumpers, Diceys climb the outer wall.

Ok, got that fort cleared out fully, or just partly?

If fully, try and investigate any clues on these magic armors you have been encountering. Its unlikely you will find anything out here, but might as well check.

If partly, take the chance to observe your ++ minions at work, and observe the crying knight at work.
