Epsilon uses a fate point the only way he knows how. He keeps hold of the ring and angrily smashes and rips a huge chunk of the ceremonial pedestal the bloody urn was on. He feels the sparks against his skin. It was electrical magic. His eyes widen as he starts to make it toward the door with his 'shield' but even without the weighted item he didn't have time.
There is a bright flash, Epsilon keeps to the stone in his arms and continues to escape. He is wracked with pain, and roars loudly from the experience. When he opens his eyes he is soaring out of the mausoleum. Just barely holding onto consciousness, but he is alive.

Soon, Epsilon will see his lover again. His singed fingers still digging into the jagged slab, shakily holding the ring.

“...And after that I trudged across the island, and found you here. That's everything, baby.”

Story time is over, Asali! Now is your chance to let Epsilon know how you feel about his adventure.

On a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is angry and 5 is happy.

I think that the aftermath of this rollercoaster of secrets and emotional revelations is too complex to convey with a numeric score.

I'm gonna say a 4, just because of how complex it turned out to be for a simple story.

Towards EPSY?
I'd say about a 4. 4.5 if that's an option.
He's been really dedicated to her well being, Mint to a lesser extent, and Chu a bit less than that.
He's made some mistakes and poor choices, but those weren't from malice or laziness.

This would normally be a 5, but he was kinda too focused on her and the other girls at the expense of everybody else. More importantly, he's been a dick to Jack's parts while she's put time and effort into helping him.

I expect she really DGAF about EPSY banging the others people since that's how she rolls too; Asali probably wants the Harem End as much as he does. No points off there.

Happy and a bit touched, but not giddy-like-a-school-girl happy.

Towards the various antagonists, fate, and world in general? 0.
=w= gets a 1, since he's just been almost completely indifferent to the suffering of mortals. Also, he neutralized Nega-Asali before that became an enema tsunami of fail.

>>
No. 367237 ID: 25d956

Im gonna say a 5, although he never told her about the =w= shit before, and that's the only shit that is really probably worth getting pissed over not knowing, he had really good reasons for that, so it's totally fair. Plus maybe 5 will dislpay a tit for us, and that's generally my goal in suggesting.
>>
No. 367238 ID: a2fa74

>>367237
=w= explicitly forbid him from telling her anything. He's telling her NOW because he did all three tasks for =w= so he's free.

That would be 4. 3 would be more like she just walks away.

No. 367252 ID: 664da7

Well if we're doing it right then
1-Angry
2-Disappointed
3-Neutral but forgiving
4-Forgiven but a little disappointed
5-Ok with it all and just happy to have him there.

4 sounds like the best option. Not disappointed with Epsy so much as disappointed with all that's happend and the role he's had in it.
>>
No. 367306 ID: 1854db

Well let's see. What do we have to be mad at Epsilon about?

Seducing and taking photos of women in order to line his pockets. His eager reaction to Mint's seduction attempts. Cooperating with Destruction, who is responsible for our current undeadness, but apparently isn't responsible for the Black Plague. He still hasn't told us what the damn W potion is for.

On the other hand what do we have to be happy about?

He was only staying distant from us because he was ordered to. He stuck with us rather than go back to the village to help survivors. He feels pretty bad about his past mistakes.

I'll go for 3. Mostly because of the whole boning Mint without hesitation thing, but also for not even going against Destruction's wishes a little bit even with what he's done. And maybe a little because of how he handled the photography thing... but that's overshadowed a considerable amount by the fact that he said it was an ENGAGEMENT RING.

We gon' get hitched.
>>
No. 367309 ID: 9f54d0

I would say 2.5 or possibly 3 because of having all the sex with all the girls and being kind of a dick but on the other hand he went through an ocean of shit and being shit on for Asali so maybe a 4 for that alone. I'm going with 3.5 because why not.

I'll give it a 2 since he's been an impulsive jackass who resorts to the most base methods in doing Whatever The Fuck He Wants with little regard for the consequences, which include innocent civilians dying horribly even if the disaster that killed everyone wasn't his fault.
The only reason he doesn't get a 1 is because he at least seems to regret fucking up royally and could try to make amends, but I don't hold much hope that he's going to improve significantly.

“I'll make sure you do at least, my dear. Now let's go make Eden happy. He's waited for longer than I have.”

You make your first priority to apologize to the man who was just imprisoned in the bucket.
“My memory is broken and I cannot recall trapping you, nor do I know why. I am really sorry. I’ve traded items all over the island to finally find that vial so I could release you. I hope this shows that I want to make it right for Eden and you. Please clear anything up for me.”

“Jajajaja, you do not even remember we have been friends for such a long time. That stings a bit,” You witness the bucket fellow’s pained laugh, “You are mostly fine. You are still not fully yourself. You made a deal with some seriously dangerous people. I tried to warn you and Epsilon before something awful happened. As you can clearly see, they had you stop me from preventing anything. On the bright side, when you sealed me away I stole something from you. I could give it back to you! Things are really bad, but I want to help you.”

You take a moment to let that sink in, “I am very very sorry if we were friends, I cannot remember anything involving you.”
“Well for starters, my name is Ladon. I am very familiar with the wretched dragon who has ruined you.”

“Please tell me about this dragon, I have most of my memories, but the events of the alleged black plague are all gone,” Asali inquires.

Ladon turns away from her and walks away a couple of steps. The bucket on his foot working more like a single misshapen shoe at the end of his leg. The liquid creature gazes into the right hand, clenched around something which he had protected for a few days by now.

“He is a True Dragon, his blood is pure and powerful. There are not a whole lot of them roaming the world, but truth be told, the dragon was not the real problem. He performed everything as required of him upon you under the glamorous offer of a deity trying to rise back to power.

This dragon believed you were doing it fully knowing the consequences of what you did. From what you told me at the bar, Keycat told you one thing about the exchange, and the dragon another. You were cursed into your current state in complete ignorance, and now here I am having to decide whether or not to Kill you right now.”

Asali frowns, and hugs herself with her tail nervously.
“I would rather prefer you not, we’re friends aren’t we?”

“We are, and since you woke up you have not killed anyone on the island. There’s hope for you. Your kind, helpful aura make it a very difficult choice. If I am wrong, however, more will suffer. Do you understand how difficult this is? Please help convince me to trust you, Asali Nyonya Zakiya. I cannot have a single shred of doubt if I am to give you this willingly.”
