There once was a box, owned by a woman, and given to her by the gods.
She was told never to open this box, for many great and terrible things lay inside.
But as people often do, she allowed her curiosity to get the best of her, and did so anyway.
Inside the box were all the greatest evils of this world, which spilled out to fill the world with their darkness.
Realizing her mistake, the woman tried to close the box, to seal them back inside.
But in the end, there was but a single thing left.
A tiny ray of light.

Heal Prevous and get him to carry Kara to a safehouse.

How much healing charge do you have, boss?

I suggest healing Kara and Prevous, if you have enough juice to do both. If you can't get em up on their feet, you can at least keep them from bleeding to death.

Oh, and give George a hug. He must be traumatized by all this.

> get some beer in Kara's system.
That lout's dependance on alchohol is disgusting, really. As if she really needs to drink more. Besides, she's completely unconcious! Trying to force something down her throat might be ill-advised.

>>29257
> I'll refrain from asking what just happened.
What just HAPPENED was the idiot went up against an MIB Supervisor, one of the highest ranks in the MIB. Then suddenly she flipped out and ripped his arms off, before caving in his skull.
Supervisors have access to a wide variety of magic, usually specializing in mental assault. It helps them control the lesser ranks, see.

I'm impressed, actually. Psychic attacks are more effective against those of limited wit and mental fortitude. I wouldn't have thought Kara had it in her.

>>29261
> How much healing charge do you have, boss?
I looks like I'll have to explain my powers.
My 'charge' as you call it is limitless. I can heal all day, every day, until time stops, if I feel like it. But the extent to which I can heal is... limited. I can't revive people from death, or regenerate lost body parts. I can only seal wounds.
Furthermore, I can only heal physical wounds. Damage caused by mental assault, fatigue, or insanity are beyond my scope.
It's possible I could reattach a limb, but I have never tried.

Their wounds have been sealed. They should survive, but they're still unconcious, and I have no way of reviving them.
Rastin's cronies should be coming to investigate, once they realize this group has not reported in. I... should do something, before that happens.

Well... Previous seems rather... fond of, uh, beef. If you have any or can locate some quickly that should probably wake him RIGHT the fuck up. If that works it should be easy to make a hasty retreat.

Failing that... get George to help you carry (or roll in Previous' case) your allies to the nearest not-exploded building you can get into and hide as hard as you can.

Hope? I shall do no such thing.
Hope is the denial of reality. It is the carrot dangled before the draft horse to keep him plodding along in a vain attempt to reach it.
Incidently, I am not a fan of irony.

It is only with logic that we can decide what to do. It is only through determination that we can see through with what we have decided.

I do not deal with ''hope''. And if other people wish for hope, then I will be theirs. They may place their hope in me, and I will see that it is not wasted.

oh... GOD. What did she do to him. His entire head is...
In his inventory is a pair of YELLOW SUNGLASSES, a YELLOW TIE, and a strange gun-like device that labels itself as a THAUMIC DISRUPTER. According to the readout, it has three charges left.

I remove them from his inventory and add them to my own.

I'm not nearly strong enough to carry Prevous. That's why I need people like Kara. Even with George's help, he's far too heavy to move.
With George's assistance, however, I can drag Kara a short distance. It will not be possible to take her very far like this, however.

I'd say to check Prevous' inventory for BEEF!, but he's very likely eaten any by now.

Try the sammich shop. If Jeslyn proves to be a problem, see if there are any shops nearby that sell BEEF.

That's Jeslyn. We met her before. She seems to place a very high emphasis on money.

Sadly, no. Even if I had my license, I'm far too short to reach the pedals.

Oh. Right. Of... of course! I-it's not that I didn't think of it. I just wanted to make sure you were paying attention.

Jeslyn starts yelling something about damages and cost, but I cut her off.
The offer of large amounts of money seems to throw her off, and she's forced to switch gears.

>>
No. 29323 ID: 95484a

You could probably use this same strategy with beer for Kara, so she can drive everyone out of here. At least until we can get somewhere to finish recovering.

Yes, using beer as an incentive to drive seems perfectly reasonable, why do you ask?
>>

Yay Prevous!

Check our funds. How are we doing, financially?
Also ask Prevous if he's in any condition to drive. He used to be a trucker, right? This stuff should be second nature to him.

Don't go to a hospital. Probably covered with MIB's and/or zombies. Anyways, try and wake up kara with beer. If that doesn't work, put her shotgun by her head.

That sounds like a good idea. She'll make a suitable replacement for Lance.
"Of course I'll join you! And, because I'm so very generous, I'll do it for the low, low price of $4000, on top of the $1000 you already gave me~"
Kara was going to give her that money anyway, for less scrupulous reasons. I give her the money.

Pulling Kara into the truck bed where the beer is has no effect. Whatever she did to flip out like that must have really took its toll on her.

Minus what I just gave Jeslyn, Kara currently has $7100.
