> Let us pray.
This is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my rifle and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.

toss a grenade in the direction he was shot in. If you fire, you'll only reveal your position. Saying they don't already know where you are...

TANGO FOXTROT TANGO FOXTROT
Shit. Shit.
I need evac, command. Fuck.

>>29534
>>29538
I can't throw a grenade that far from under Sierra Romeo. And I already used up my only smoker.

>>29540
I can't risk it. I have no cover or backup. Right now I'm only alive because they haven't spotted me.

I've got a standard loadout, sans the smoke. One rifle, a spare clip, one M67, a flare and my combat knife.

Please advice, command. Please?

Stay low, stay out of sight. Get away from the skyranger for now, they're bound to investigate it.

If you're feeling ballsy, steal their ship while they're looking for survivors. If not, throw something to make a noise elsewhere (a rock?) and get the hell out.
>>
No. 29595 ID: 1689ab

Remember, they can see a lot better in the darkness than you can. Just because you cant see them, doesnt mean they cant see you. be careful soldier. Your best bet is to get yourself into an easilly defendable location. See if you can spot any houses nearby. If your lucky you can even find their ship, overpower their sentries and keep overwatch on the door.

Roger that command, backing away.
Do we have a secondary extraction point somewhere? We didn't get a map.

There's a couple of wooden shacks in front of the Sierra Romeo. I'll make my way over there.

Ugh, I feel like Commander Haig from WW1.

Regardless, approach the shacks cautiously, lets see if we can't salvage something from this trainwreck of a mission soldier.

Look through the window to make sure theres no one inside, then dart in through the door. Be quick. They're probably too busy with the skyranger, so theyre likely not immediatly keeping an eye on you. Get there and establish yourself before they can get close enough to see what your doing.

Wouldn't a silent takedown be better? With the combat knife? We don't know how many could be around to hear gunshots.
>>
No. 31272 ID: f98e0b

>>31255
Got a silencer, soldier? If not you may want to use your knife. How strong physically are these things you're facing? If you need to shoot it, it's close enough to just poke your rifle out the side of your cover and use blindfire. No need to leap out from behind your hiding place.
>>
No. 31274 ID: 01383e

>>31255
Well, if you have a silent method of takedown, use it. If not, quickly QUICKLY check for others in the immediate vicinity, shoot it, and relocate. If possible, nab it's weapon, you may be able to figgure it out on the fly. Or it may start glowing and explodeor something , if that happens try to get it close to the enemy.
>>
No. 31321 ID: 1689ab

It's gone all limp, so I guess it's dead. I'll drag the body inside, not much I can do about the blood though.

No. 31527 ID: 7d87d9

Keep your rifle with you. We don't know if the Alphas got some locking mechanism on it to prevent us from using their weapons.

Command would be very glad if you could recover as many enemy weapons as you can.
>>

>>31503

That blood is going to attract attention sooner or later, you may want to consider leaving before an enemy squad turn up.
>>
No. 31596 ID: 649108

Your in some kind of stable. Cover that blood up with hay or something and take up a defensive position, now! You'll want a clean shot at the door, but to be not able to be seen from the window. Try covering yourself with hay as well, so that the enemy will have a hard time spotting you at a glance.

Roger that.

I'm at the ship. No guards are around as far as I can see. Any advice on how to storm the ship? All the regular tacs need more people.
>>
No. 33040 ID: 649108

They'll be expecting a traditional attack. Go in guns ablazing. kick that door down and just fire. Whatever in there be damned. Just start fucking shooting. You're sure to hit anything behind the door that way, then you can duck back around the corner and wait to see if they come out to try and get you, gun waiting.

No. 33283 ID: a3b36a

Got anything that'll make a big explosion? More than one would be good. Open door > toss it in > run > KABOOM! > ????? > Dead aliens.
>>
No. 33310 ID: 01383e

>>33283
The only explosive he has right now is at the center of that alien ship. the goddamn engines.

Get to those, private, and you have the means to take 'em all out with you. or you could spill the elerium out, lure them INTO the ship, and light it with an alien blaster shot or something- crisped/exploded aliens, depending on how the flame acts in a controlled environment. A WARNING: many scientists have died in uncontrolled elerium fires.
