It may be too late, wait who's talking? Aagh its the scarf! She try to move away from the scarf but its too late, it coil around her arm then move to her neck, she is about to cry and beg for her life but the only thing the scarf do is wrap around her neck and lie there, she try to remove it but she is not remotely strong enough to untie it

That looks like a key by the blocked off door. Grab it.

Stay away from the hole in the wall, those are never good news. In fact this entire place seems like a place I wouldn't want to be. Oh well. Do you remember anything at all?

In any case head down the corridor since thats the only route that looks remotely safe \ accessable.

Oh, don't be afraid! We're sorry for jumping on you like that! We didn't even know we could do that. It just kind of happened. I guess as a magic talking scarf we just really want to be worn, or to have someone to talk to.

But really, we don't want to hurt you. We don't know where we are, or how either of us got here, but we just want to help, honest. A dark nasty ruin is no place for a lost little rabbit girl, or a magic talking scarf. Let's find a way out, together.

We're a scarf of many... threads. And each thread speaks with its own voice. You can't take all of us seriously all the time, some of us are meaner or joke-ier than others. But I'm pretty sure that one was joking. We really don't want to hurt you- you don't need to beg or be afraid. Please.

On to practical matters. You should back away from the door. We're not sure what that is coming this way, and we should be cautious.

Um, stay out of reach. We don't know if the hand is dangerous or not. Try talking to it? It looks burnt- maybe it's a hurt person trapped on the other door, and not a scary monster out to get us?

...so the trap door needs multiple keys, and it consumes them as it goes. Holding on to the key might be a good idea, if it opens more than one thing in the dungeon (zelda style! One key fits all)! Good thinking. Pretty genre savvy for an amnesiac, bunny.

Unfortunately, if we need more keys, you're going to have to go out and look for them. That means crawling through the hole in the wall, or trying to get past the hand-monster.
>>

She also said there was a corridor leading out of here so try the less dangerous options first. We need a light source at the very least before crawling into a dark hole.

Getting the machete is good. I doubt you're trained to use a weapon, but even a poor defense is better than none. And it does have use as a tool (cutting things, poking things to test for safety, etc).

Do the chest and the door each take the same kind of key? Do they look like they have only use once mechanisms?

Bunny, Take a quick hop backward, THEN look at the ceiling. Things have a bad habit of falling directly on to you if you look up first. If we're lucky, the voice on the other side of the bars is just messing with us, but it's better safe than sorry.

swing the unoccupied arm behind, up, and forward, so as to intercept anything falling towards her, and hopefully throw it forward. if we catch something large and heavy, this will obviously throw us backwards as well. all problems fixed by physics.

Soo... Markus, is it? You seem to be knowledgeable about what's happening here, can you tell us what is going on?

Let me guess...

Someone tried something on some living test subjects.
Maybe an injection of something magical, chemical or nanotechnological.
It resulted in these beasts, who now roam and possibly murder anything not them.

Anyway, what was the research, theory and final objective this note we and Lily found, is talking about?
