Ash went to put her things away in the back tunnel for the time being, and then I'll get her set up around here.

The chalkboard seems as good a place as any to start, but no one left me a "Dear Boss" note saying where they'd be in the event of my return.
There ARE a number of strange images on it, but... your guess is as good as mine. I mean you can see them just as I can, right?
There's an orb and an eye, a couple images of me with -- my brains... sort of coming out.
A hand with my name on it crossed out, and... something happening to the fingers anyway.
Mathematical formulas in the upper right that I can't quite wrap my head around just from looking.

Aaand for some reason there's Babrakus with a heart next to his head.

This is ridiculous. We work our asses off getting not only mannikins, but manage to get a new employee while we're at it, and all we ask is that we come home to the praise and adulation of our adoring minions. Its a reasonable expectation, I mean, how many bosses do YOU know of that do all the grunt field work? But no, instead we come back to an empty lair with nothing but CRAZY SCRIBBLES ALL OVER THE CHALKBOARD! Well, thats IT. The eye and the orb are interesting.
Finesse has a piece of the orb, by the way.

You're right! I worked damn hard for this. When they get back I'll have to have some sort of suitable punishment ready for them.

...and you say that Finesse has a shard from the orb? That's... very strange. Why haven't I noticed anything missing? Or a diminished mental capacity?
Regardless, it shouldn't be much of a danger. You're my mind, after all, and even if she can tap into a tiny fragment of it, the pieces are separated now. It's not like she can just read my mind!
Even I have trouble navigating this bombardment of randomly-firing thoughts, so another would be absolutely befuddled by it.

...but is this really getting us anywhere?
Maybe we should focus on the future. Or at least the present.

No. 43531 ID: 632862

I think Finesse might have been wondering if the Orb's thoughts really belonged to Muschio. The dead muschio with fragments coming out... that could either be A)theorizing that Muschio had some kind of brain injury resulting in the orb being created to support him, or B)wondering what would happen to the orb if he died.
Theory A could explain the other images, suggesting that this body isn't even the original Muschio.

Use MANNIKIN, acquire ODDS, get ASH, arrange SEARCH PARTY.

Oh, please! I don't regret it in the least.
She and I were locked in the passion of a duel which simply became something more when further terms were laid out. It was some of my finest, albeit most unorthodox diplomacy. And in the end it worked, for hostilities abated and another recruit signed on to my ever-growing army.

Besides, Ashedel is very a sensual woman. She is built in the very image of physical desire. Her fullness of figure and beauty of form cannot be ignored. She is a voluptuous figure, and her defined curves are intoxicating to the senses.

Nope, the coast is clear.
But I don't know why that would matter. It's not as though I said anything that would offend her or embarrass myself. I'm sure she knows my feelings on the subject of her appearance, given we've already had sexual relations.

Now can we do something productive? It's too late to go out searching for my stupid minions and I'm sure they'll be back by morning anyway.

Think about it pragmatically. We can't inspire much fear in our minions at this point, as we do not have an unshakably loyal army of demons to back us up. Therefore, we must make sure our minions respect us, lest they become disloyal. Rape is out of the question until we are an evil emperor and commander of an unstoppable army of darkness. Once we are, we can rape as many of our minions as we want.

Because, you know, nothing interesting at all happened to Muschio. Nope, nothing at all.

I don't know the details of the potion or its makeup. All I know is I've been like this for six hours.

I'm not going to just sit in here until Master Muschio wakes up, which is probably about eight hours from now.

And I'd love to go mess with the chalk, but SOMEONE closed and locked the door.

We know his name, too. If he goes into the room with the chalkboard, we can use that. You're tangible enough to write, right?

All right, lets get to business. It seems Tislomer asked for you to get some herb and make a potion or something on the chalkboard before we erased the stuff.

What I don't understand is that she put you with a plus sign with the herb. What goblin bits are well known ingredients that aren't painful or crippling to remove, like hair or something?

Otherwise, if there is no such ingredient to your knowledge, we can assume she just meant for you to put some herb into a potion glass.

Well. That was an interesting series of events.

It seems Tislomer created some sort of ghosting-potion and both my new hire and my Tinker were too overcome with curiosity to avoid sampling it.
It seems, further, that Finesse managed to drive off a familiar intruder while I was asleep, even despite her limited powers. To this end I am impressed.
She seemed rather embarrassed over something or other, but it's likely the stress of her ordeals simply got to her. She quickly retreated to her room.
As for Ashedel, once we made the Mimwit sprigs available and made it clear they were the cure to her condition, she soon materialized as well. She's got her temporary quarters set up in the back tunnel.
Babrakus showed up too, and he's gone to bed.
And now I think I'm going to follow their example. it's been a long night and I'm still exhausted.
Tomorrow, there is much to be done.

...as a final note, it seems that Tislomer still hasn't materialized.
But I'm sure she'll turn up eventually.
