Exist, and thrive. You are my first and only child - you should be proud of this fact. While it was not my intention to sire a whelp of my own, it would seem the machinations of man did not share those thoughts.

>>57238
[i]So she is as smart as she is naive. Yes, I am a God. But the Age of Gods has long since passed. My power is but a fraction of what it once was...I have little followers in the world today, and we Old Gods derive our might from how many of those are devoted to us.

You must be wondering though, "but if I have never heard of you, and never worshipped you, then why am I even speaking with you?"

Like I said before, it is about destiny. Yours, rather. Even though my power has dwindled, I still watch over that bauble known as Earth, and I have seen many a thing. It would seem that a rather adventurous sort of mortals managed to come into possession of, of all things, my 'blood'. Although I use the term loosely, of course.

Magic and sorcery has faded to give way to science and technology, and you are a result of this 'new magic'. You were not born. You were created. And you were created with my blood surging through your veins. This is what gives you this connection with me. You have part of me already within you.

In the days of old I had champions who would pioneer my cause. I wish to entrust this task unto you. The other Old Gods do not have the luxury of the position I am in, and I have done much to keep you secret. I want you to bring my name unto the world once more. I want you to bring me followers, so that I may rise to power once again. Do this for me, and you will have power of your own as your reward.

Know however that I am not asking this of you lightly. If you fail me, there will be no future for you. For there is no afterlife for you. You are an anomaly. An aberration. Shed from the shell of a mortal, fused with the blood of a god, possessing no soul in which to dwell within once your mortal body is no more.

But it is ultimately your decision. Just because you are of my brood does not mean I will force my will upon you. The choice is yours.

Okay, you chthonic octofox.
You want me to bring you followers?
Right. Then how about you tell me more about yourself – what kind of cult do you want? What kind of virtues do you reward? What kind of sins do you detest? What kind of services and offerings do you desire?

>>57301
Hahahaha. Forgive me, but the millenia tend to just spin together. I forget that there is no longer a general understanding of what it means when I say "Champion my cause."

Hm. To put it in a manner which you can understand, I wish for you to go out unto the world, and amuse me. If you truly do share my heritage, then this will come rather natural to you. And you need not trifle yourself with the laborious task of gaining converts. Those will come in due time when word of your...skills...begins to spread.

Really my dear, just do what comes natural~

You can make it! Your daddy won't let you die like that, it's not funny enough and you didn't cause nearly enough chaos.

You probably feel like ass because, you know, mutating. If you wind up passing out... well, you'll be able to break out of anywhere you get stashed, hopefully.

With a bit of concentration, you manage to morph your arm into a variety of shapes - ranging from the standard tentacle to a wickedly clawed monstrous hand. After a few minutes of practice, it almost seems natural to you.

Still feels a little weird though.
