You tackle Miss Rat into a nearby bush. She faints instantly. After a few seconds a bird lands where you where and Looks around.

Is... is that bird wearing shoes? Also it looks like there's some kind of marking on its chest.

Hmm, how could we defend ourselves... maybe if you grabbed a rock in your mouth?

Stay hidden and look at the symbol on its chest. Does it have words floating over it? Does it look like any of the symbols you've seen in the house earlier?

Before you get a chance to wait for something to happen, something happens!

Bird: "CAW!" (HEY!)

You: "Gulp!"
You swallow the rock you had in your mouth.

Before you know it, the bird is already in your hiding place. Eying you up.

Bird: "Squack!" (Are those Geraldiodo's Enchanted Glasses?)

You: "Ribbit..." (Um...)

Bird: "Squack!" (You would not believe how much of a pain he has been!) "Squack." (He killed and ate a bunch of my relatives.) "Squack." (Although he's only eaten relatives I hate, it's still a little upsetting.) "Squack?" (Thanks, how can I ever repay you?)
He Rambles on for a while, till you notice the sun starting to set.

Just wanted to let y'all know that I haven't abandonded this quest! I'm super busy with work, they give me a bunch of hours and then ask me to cover other peoples shifts... I have a Patreon so that I can phase over to doing art full time. Anyway, I have some time set aside tomorrow! I'll post an update, and if I notice enough responses (At least 5) before I have to leave for work, I'll go ahead and make another update!

You: "Ribbit!" (If you could take me and Miss Rat to her sisters house, that'd be great!)

Bird: "Squack." (Sure, just tell me where it is and we'll be off.)

You: "Ribbit..." (It's, uh...)
You never asked Miss Rat where it is, and she's out cold, or hot, in her case.

Bird: "Squack?" (You don't know do you?)

What do?

You: "Ribbit." (Well, she was guiding me.) "Ribbit..." (And now she's not...) "Ribbit? (You wouldn't happen to be able to help her?)

Bird: "Squack." (No, I can't.) "Squak!" (But my twin sister can!)

You: "Ribbit!" (Great, let's go!)

Bird: "Squack." (Hold up.) "Squack..." (There's just one problem...) "Squack." (I can only carry one person at a time and it's a pretty long journey.)

You: "Ribbit?" (How long will I have to wait?)

Bird: "Squack..." (You'll have to wait here till tomorrow morning...)

You're already in a pile of leaves, cleverly disguised as a bush!

>>709568

You tell the bird that you'll wait here. The Bird flies off with Miss Rat still unconscious.

A couple hours later, it's night time. Things are quiet for a while and you start to nod off, but then you're woken up by a noise near by.

You think it sounded like a snapping twig and you're sure that you hear a roar.

>>714139
>>714562

You: "Ribbit?" (Ow, what happened?)

Worm: "..." (...) He Wriggles around a bit, then seams to point towards the snoring outside the bush.

You peak outside and find yourself face to face with the sleeping dog you can only assume is the sort of dog that eats Frogs! You're so close your glasses automatically activate and you see his name is Brucarar. Panicked you start to Hop away, but then you stop and remember you have to wait for... That Bird, you can't seem to recall what his name was... Or you're sure you'll never see Miss Rat again!
>>
No. 716963 ID: f30cb6

Well... This is inconvenient. At least he is sleeping, maybe you should Seek to hide around this area. Maybe find a way to hide your scent too if possible, maybe cover yourself in mud? And then wait until you see the bird flying around this area, or until the dog leaves.

Sneak away, find a nearby hiding spot where the dog can't get to you, but you can watch for the bird. (Up a tree? A rock? In a hole?)
