make sure it's actually dead and see what it has on it. Might give you some idea of what you're dealing with. Then tell your teammates what you found on him so they know what they're dealing with and try calling 9 again because now I'm really worried about her.

You don't have the time or the equipment to risk a field interrogation, if the hostile isn't dead.

Confirm the kill. Put one between the eyes to be sure before you approach.

Search corpse quickly, for equipment and intelligence.

Ask 33 how close any of the other 5 to your position. (She could play overwatch and guide you, maybe). Is anyone responding to the gunfire? You blew the stealth part of their op, at least.

Can anyone call that guard's position into the medical personnel? If he's really lucky he's not dead yet, and he's right next to the people who might be able to save him.

>you need to get out of there
I can't. 09 goes missing right before there's a mysterious lockdown and hostiles hit the medbay? I can't assume that's a coincidence. Either she's the target, or she was too close to the target and got caught up in this.
>>
No. 722760 ID: 726a91

Do we have control the the station's PA system as well as gravity and air-handling? If so, we can alert the rest of the station to the intruders without alerting those inside the med-bay. Potentially even alert the guards in the med-bay directly if they have private comms.

#85, how good is your microgravity manoeuvring?
#33, how quickly can you flick the gravity in the med bay on and off at #85's command?

If it is really dead, and with that I mean it dropped the knife and there are no more hostiles nearby, kick the knife away of it and try to search the corpse for anything that we could use to identify the enemy forces.

Rather big puddle of blood spilling from under him indicates low chances of survival.
#33: #85... is he dead?
#85: i think so...

>Do we have control of the station's PA system.
#33: no. but i already sent emergency signal to main station hub. med-bay seems to be in the dark right now.
>Ask 33 how close any of the other 5 to your position.
#33: 2 in the biolabs. looks like they downloading something form servers. 2 more are near main hall monitoring the crowd. look like guards have no idea what's going on. and the last one... shit i lost him.

-#85 appraches body and inspects it for valuables.

>Might give you some idea of what you're dealing with.

[hmm... rather advanced stealth-tech (it was damaged under gunfire.), but he lacks any kind of body armor. I guess this guy didn't expected to enter open fight. only weapon on him is his knife. blade look laced with some kind of neuro-toxin. (#85 double checks herself for cuts.) other things found on body is small timer-bomb and some kind of access-card.]

#33: who the hell is this guy? shikadi spy?

>...gravity and air-handling?
#33: we can inject "payload" in air systems. but with what going on... you sure it is time for that?! #66 didn't respond for some time, so im not sure about gravity control.

I'm not sure what to do, I feel like we should make sure the security team knows what's going on and what they'll be facing though.

Yeah, put the safety back on. I feel justified in staying armed while we're alone, but you don't want to cause a friendly fire incident.
>>
No. 723763 ID: b412df

Thinking about it, should we help out any security response? We have info about what we're facing, and we have 33 on cameras for overwatch.

We still haven't found 9, and while we can't do much alone, we might be able to make a difference in a group. If all the enemy are equipped the same way, then as long as we can spot them before they can knife us or use the explosives, we might be able to take them.

They might even be able to overlook the rules we've broken for the prank if we help.
>>
No. 723789 ID: a075ba

>it's an attack right?
One attempted to use lethal force on a guard, and on me. So it's not a friendly visit, that's for sure.

>#66 is not responding.
Is either team close enough to #66's location to investigate? Or can #33 check the security feeds near #66's last known position?

>Thinking about it, should we help out any security response?
Depends. Their priorities might not be our own. We're looking out for our squad, first.

If #33 could get access to base security comms so we could here what they were doing, that would be pretty great.

>what do
I feel like our options are to either double back and check the body we left (but that's not a priority), trying to help your silent friends, or going after baddies.

We either need to try and stop the ones going for what we assume is their target (breaking into that room) or the ones watching the main hall- they're effectively holding our people hostage and could ambush them at any time.

...I'm leaning medical hall. Take out the two watching them, recruit the guards and students there. Help your people before they can be leveraged against you.

#09 and #66 take priority, but only if an opportunity to help them comes up.

Any chance you can group up with your squad? (Or is the medical lockdown keeping them all out). The correct way to solve this problem is to have more than one person so you can shoot the two of them at the same time.

If we can't reach them, you might be able to grab 09 for help. Does her room show up on 33's cameras?

She does not. Originally I thought it was safer for 09 in quarantine because she could have been the target of these agents, but they're no longer searching in her area (because we killed the guy who was...) so we should go get her for a second pair of hands.

I we should save the sprinklers and alarm for when we engage the intruders, only triggering them when we're about to fight.

Not sure what the best way to enter would be, but leaning towards B for a breach and clear; since coming out of the vents might be awkward and I'm guessing they've got good sensors in those helmets, and they're probably watching the door if it's the only normal way in.
>>
No. 726848 ID: f38880

Put the explosive on the wall, but you will use the door to enter. Set the timer around 6 to 10 seconds, depening on how much it takes you to open the door. Once in, they will look at the door first, maybe, and then the explosion may distract them, and that will be your time to strike.

If it looks like you have plenty of space, and you make sure you won't accidentally hit 09, use your gun, if not I would say you to keep it with the safety luck, and use it as a blunt weapon, if you wish. Also, try to use the sprinkles to make sure you don't lose them.

[this one is more nimble than the last one!]

-taken by surprise intruder was splitsecond of to react on 85's attack.
-about 50% of bullets reach it's target. console behind him is destroyed.

as last round leaves the barrel, it becomes clear that intruder won't be down that easy.

-cloacking device disabled.
-intruders movement speed is greatly reduced.
-15 sec before machine gun recharges.

Now would be a good time to sound the alarms and release the gas as a last resort. Save the sprinklers for now, they'll interfere with the gas dispersal.

Screw with the disgruntled mook: slowly take off your clothes. When he demands what the @#$% you're doing, explain that protocol demands sexual favors to the enemy to decrease the chances of them shooting you in the face, and then shooting yourself in the face while worshipping your corporate overlords. Continue to descend into madness and wait for him to prepare a rifle butt, then counter HARD.

The longer you keep him distracted, the more time 09 has to undo the rest of her bindings and pick up a gun.

[85 saved a lot of lifes that day... but many more where lost. including me only 25 cadets in med-bay managed to survive after the bombs went of... she actually saved life of then private duke bradshaw... bodies of 4 infiltrators where discovered among the wreckage... and a bit later a body of headmaster was found in his office. cause of his death was not determined. whoever thouse people were, they wanted me for some reason. 33 suggested for me to take place 85 so 09 could be one who died in that explosion. so nobody will come for me again... that day i left my past behind and took on a new self... that day i lost my best friend...]

That corpse over there on the left.

If it's somehow still unclear, 09 was Jacquette L. Jaxx. After 85's death, she assumed 85's alias so the unknown assailants would think 09 died in the attack, and no longer pursue her. 09 here has a hole in her hand right where Jackie's scar is.

The real question is, if 09 grows up be to be Jackie, who was Frankie? A resurrected 85? One of the other members of the squad?
