The risk of the crowbar slipping, spinning around, and hitting you in the head seem a bit too high to try that.

Gathering your party, Cid gives you a keycard you had overlooked in the file cabinet.

onward, to the room south of the ladder room!

The figure seems rather rude.

Bane responds;

"Im quite alright in here actually, althought one thing's botherin' me, I am terribly bored! I can trade you this thing I found in my pocket if you've got anything interresting."
Bane shows you the missing button of the panel in the medical room.

You propose a trade of the coin for the button, Bane says that would be "smashing", and offers you the button.

Meanwhile Cid attempts to open the estern cell, using the keycard on the slid and pressing the open button.
It doesnt responds, and Cid tells you its because the bars have been bent. the bars cant retrect into the ground.

>>11395
As if by magic, you return to the medical room, while you wait for Cid to fix the button, you decide to give Jason a hug.

A few moments later, Cid has fixed the button and presses it. and so, the door disapears before you.

Agreed! you get working on bringing the ladder with you.

Jason cracks open one of the crates with his crowbar and looks inside.

It seems to be filled with jars, filled with pills.
The jars aren't labelled so theres no way of telling what's in them.

"grabbin' peelz" Jason proclaims as he grabs a jar.

>>11447
Cid doesnt think its a good idea to eat pills when you dont know what they're supposed to do.

You and Jason grab the ladder, Alice up front as she is the leader, as you make your way trough the room, the AI pops up on the screen.

"Warning, all cells have been opened by the Administrator, all personale evacuate immediatly."

This can't be good.

Realize that it is fairly easy to weaponize a ladder if the enemy is in front of you.

But anyway, no one has been horrendously aggressive yet but Pete. Maybe the Unknown Prisoner isn't bad, just sort of a jerk.
>>
No. 11489 ID: f373c2

The cell on the lower right probably had its bars bent when whatever was inside got out. We can slip in through the bars to investigate the cell.

On the way there, free the other prisoner.

Concidering they keep prisoners on this level, you think its wiser to run rather than to go back to Bane or the other prisoner.
Cid being the weakest, he climbs up first, followed by Alice who, with his help, gets the ladder up.

In the distance you can hear chaotic sounds, and the voice of unnamed prisoner.
"YOURE ALL REALLY FUCKED NOW!!"

The unnamed prisoner bursts trough the door opening, just as you reach the top.
There is no time, Jason hits the button on the wall, and the metal plate at the top of the ladder starts to move, to cover it up.

Before you realise Jason isn't comming, its too late.

Then there was silence.
