Some basic details about the Crow Kingdom

Crow Kingdom citizens all wear masks at all times in public. This is done as a sign of equality. The idea being that masks add a level of anonymity, that people won't be judged by their appearance. The make of the masks vary from person to person.

Visitors aren't technically required to wear a mask, but it is considered polite to do so.

Pictured here is a Crow Kingdom bird rider. Riding birds are not exclusive to the Crow Kingdom, but a lot of legendary Crow Kingdom warriors are said to use them, as well as the King's personal warriors.

Other common riding animals are horses, wolves and lizards. There are shark riders too, but Magic West doesn't take place near the ocean, so I wouldn't expect to see one show up.

what about a water mage? they could bring their shark with them.
>>
No. 58821 ID: f793db

>>58819
yes, they could, but at that point, they're doing everything themselves, as the shark swims around in sea water the mage brought inland, and maintains though their own power, on top of having to feed the shark themselves and whatnot. It would be like if you brought a shark in a fish tank. It can't really go anywhere without you moving the tank for it.

A water mage who lives by the ocean and rides sharks would probably go on ocean based adventures, like being a pirate, visiting islands or distant coasts, and travel the oceans rather than going inland to the Magic West.

Quite a nice and consistent art style that you use. How long does it take for you to illustrate an update?

Lizardfolk in the world of Magic West have the Racial Perk of Fast.

Not really a complicated perk, they're just faster than other races.

Quick test to compare normal bold text and Chrys's bold text
>>
No. 63103 ID: ecfcdc

>>63097
Don't forget that normal bold text is differently colored in different stylesheets, and can also differ on different displays. For me, on my primary display, it looks fine in [Burichan] and [Nice] but the difference is a hard to see in [Pony] and nearly impossible in [Futaba]. On my true color display, the difference in [Pony] is a bit easier to notice.

Well, that's the main issue. I might have to just change Chrys's dialogue to something more extreme, like This

I'm considering a small stylistic shift in Magic West. Not right now, but in the foreseeable future.

Mostly I would be raising the quality of faces so they're more unified, no more 'some people have full eyes, some just have pupils'!

That face looks way too cartoony and overwrought for my tastes. I think current faces are entirely fine. There's no real need for them to be unified.

I'm actually trying to visualize a pugilist highwayman. I'm imagining he just steps into the middle of the road half naked and punches out your horse, grabs your saddle while you're still struggling to comprehend what just happened, and walks off.

So, whispering inmate.. think he recognizes the tells of a suppressed mage's aura and wants us to get him out too?
>>
No. 66997 ID: 84b8a7

>>66392
Yes. Sadly as much as I wish we could completely suppress our aura anyone that sees us for more then a second will know.

I feel subterfuge has worked well up to the point but its reaching the limits of luck we can hope for. We have no choice but to accept helping this prisoner for the moment to keep him from blurting out our presence(not that all prisoners are like that but he seems an opportunist to me). Having him call the guard over while we sneak around through the cell block doors seems a good way to utilize him and also test if he is trustworthy. Then its just a matter of deciding to ambush the guard or going to find our brawling blood mage.
