I noticed that 1d4chan did not have an article about tgchan or any of it's content.
Should tgchan material be edited into 1d4chan?
Does tgchan need an own wiki?
Does it HAVE a Wiki already, that i just don't know about?

I would say no.

We don't have a wiki, but posting it on 1d4chan would attract a lot of stupid that we don't need.

Controlled growth is the key, I think.

We should have a wiki! That would be fun! It wouldn't be used to its fullest potential, but they're not really that resource-intensive so it's not like it would hurt anything to have anyhow.

I think we don't need a wiki. The archives are for that. Tgchan is a minority.

We don't need a wiki. We could have an article on 1d4chan, I suppose. Feel free to write one. Our content is mostly not really worthy of going in the wiki, though. If we do something that is, it goes in the wiki. The only thing we normally do that is is Unified Setting.

Seems like it'd be easier to read through summarized articles on a wiki than click through the mountain of quest threads in the catalog in an effort to catch up. Tgchan's discussion sometimes relies heavily on knowledge of previous quests, so it'd be a lot easier to just type "Telwis" into the search and find out what quest they're from, the author, etc. This helps newcomers avoid asking the same questions over and over again ("What's 58?"), and it makes it easy to browse through quests with more than an image and first/last post.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm saying OMG WE NEED THIS 4 TGCHAN 2 SURVIVE. It'd just be neat and a nice thing to have.

Some quests do deserve an article, Mudy Quest especially.

tgchan has both a wiki and a quest archive.

You guys probably should make a page for yourselves on 1d4chan (for better exposure), but all quest-related stuff would go on this site's wiki.

The real problem with wiki format, though, is that all the content is user-dependent. 1d4chan is well-known to the population of mainland /tg/ but is still lacking in quite a few areas. And given that tgchan has (at a generous estimate) one-tenth the population of regular /tg/ and that the local wiki is only somewhat known here, it's going to be pretty starved for content.

The one with the dog is better. Also it's "Read the note *advicedog* Hug Tom" not the other way around.

It might not be a good idea to attract too much attention to ourselves, we dont want the trolls blowing over.

On addition to that, some people might not want "quest shit" on 1d4chan.
This is working fine so far, so unless something changes I dont think we'll do it otherwise.
