Yeah, that's a ruination card. Get enough corruption in a region, you destroy it. You destroy a region or even help to do so and you get victory points simple stuff.

Shit, I tell you what though. I expected to go straight from my job to the geek oasis and got blindsided by the ordinary. 5 hours later at the local bar, I'm g-g-g-gone!

This shit's still goin' down though. Chaos in the Old World is cool, but when it comes to best board game I've gotta give it to Arkham Horror. You just don't find cooperative board games that are this well designed. But I'll give you guys a hint now, I'm a huge Fantasy Flight fan. Anything they make, I'm likely to give a thumbs up on. But I digress.

Arkham Horror is pretty much what you expect, a cooperative game set in H.P. Lovecraft's city of Arkham. There's an elder god awakening and the players work together to either stop it from coming into this dimension or stopping the bastard once he wakes up. Neither is terribly easy (usually). The game fights back all over the place, it's really interesting to see a game go from, "Man, we're really wrecking this," to, "Oh god, what just happened."

The game is highly recommended and it can accommodate a whopping 8 players so you and all your friends can try and stop Cthulu from Ia! Ia!-ing. Or, if you're a completely hopeless social recluse, you can even play the game alone and try to forget the soul crushing loneliness! With something like 7 expansions in print, you're likely to get bored with the game anytime soon either.

Back tomorrow with more Fatgut stuff.
