For instance we learn that Anderson knows something, there is only Pablo, Kim is either right or dead, there's something behind Anna, Santiago wants darkness, something is in an outlet, we need to get going and leave quickly, and of course, nothing may go wrong.

Somehow, I am surprised that 'god', 'jesus', and 'christian' are not prominent there. After thinking about it, I realized that they're not actually dwelt upon much, but they still pervade the mood rather well.

At least in the beginning, before Sammy's life became dominated by dimension-hopping horrors.
