Your name, gender, and everything about you are coming up a blank. You woke up with nothing but the clothes on your back, and the meager inventory of items found in your pockets.
You appear to be in a white room, no walls or exit are immediately noticeable.
What do you do?

You are neuter, and your name is Nicholas Templar. And if it turns out you aren't really, then you can bloody well be for now.

Anyways, look in your pockets. If there're no walls, then it's not really a room and there's an exit. Head in your lucky direction.

That doesn't quite strike you as correct, but you take it anyhow.
You uproot your pockets, and find the following objects:
One large kitchen knife, in pristine condition:
One Identification Card, depicting an odd woman with a ponytail.
One Burnt cigar box, containing several unlit matches.

There is also forty dollars in there.

You decide to head east (you think) on a whim, and you come across a snaking pathway leading in either direction.
You also bumped into several objects on your way here, though you were unable to distinguish them from the landscape.

You can continue onwards, or follow the path in either direction.
For some unfathomable reason the idea of going back stirs up a bad feeling in your gut, ne that says to keep moving at all costs.
You aren't quite sure what to make of that.

Go back anyway, it's dangerous outside.

You make your way back to approximately where you started, and are greeted with this.
Somehow this doesn't surprise you.

((This is my first adventure, and I've never really been the best artist, be it with a mouse or with my tablet.
I'm hoping I get better as time goes on, just thought I'd get that out of the way ahead of time.))

Being as someone obviously USED the matches on the cigarbox, the only logical option is to light a damn match to see if you can find anything in the hole.

Alternatively, just go back and inspect the cigar box better.

You light up one of the matches in the cigar box, striking it against the sole of your boots to get the friction necessary for ignition.
All that is in the rift is a floating chunk of the white material that comprises your landscape, floating in the dark abyss.
Speaking of which, the darkness seems to resist the light quite easily, only the white floor stuff reflecting any light whatsoever.
>>
No. 477639 ID: 17a70f

Analise the chunk of landscape, and see if you can't take it with you. If the dark mist is harmful OPEN the cigar box to see if anything inside of it is useful...Something tells me you're gonna need that piece of landscape eventually.

The cigar box contains nothing but matches. However, you do manage to snag the flying chunk of earth(?) before it drifts any further into the abyss.
>>
No. 477645 ID: 17a70f

((Apparently I'm blind, I thought the box had an unknown content. -_-;))

Go back the way you came to the stream, then look left and right to see if you can find anything.

You go back to the path, following it to the right for a ways. You notice there is a bit more detail to the world as you go along, nothing definitive, but small things are now visible, such as the sand making up the pathway.
Everything appears to be tinged blue and white for some reason.
A giant rock with a door set into it comes into view.
What do you do?
>>
No. 477655 ID: 56b7e8

Examine the building to see if you can look inside before trying the door and going in...Make sure you announce you come in peace so you don't get attacked.

The rock is completely solid, save for a single shallow gash to one side of it.
A thick vine snakes along the other face and onto the top of the formation.
The door is hewn directly into the rock, it seems, and what you initially thought might be a knob is in fact a pull hoop.
You knock it against the stone, but you aren't sure any noise filtered through.
>>
No. 477657 ID: 56b7e8

First, check the vine and see if you can collect it, use the knife if need be, second try finding a way to open the door if possible, using it as a shield if it opens outward.

There is a faint popping sensation, then the world snaps into full color.
You cut free the full length of the vine, adding it to your inventory!
>>
No. 477682 ID: 56b7e8

Nice colors.))

Measure the length of the vine and try to fasten it around the handle of your knife, you may need a mid range weapon if it stays on there. Try the pull thingy once you're done to see if it opens.

After a few false starts, you manage to get the knife tied to the vine well enough that you can swing it around without it falling off!
The vine is about five feet, though you've never been all that good at figuring out distances.

You have obtained the Terrarium Terror!

While the handle is still attached, the cracks that have formed around it indicate that any further use would snap it from the door. However, through the thin opening you DID manage to get open you are able to see a pair of red eyes blinking back at you.
What now?

A raspy voice says it would gladly do so, but it is a bit chained to a wall at the moment.
Your harsh words appear to have made the poor sod start crying.
>>
No. 477807 ID: c33f8f

Tell it that its a though world out here so crying wont work on us.
Then ask who or what it is and how did it get stuck chained inside this rock.

Pull the handle from the door.

(afraid I wasn't quite thinking this one through, guys! I might start another adventure, but this one had a woefully small amount of planning involved in its creation.
I can't really say it's going anywhere, and if I actually knew how to chan beyond posts and the usual formatting junk I would've had this thing deleted or locked by now.)
