It sounds like Tr'ak used the bodies to somehow help other AIs, probably using the AI core. Check the camera feeds to see who else visited this area. If it turns out that #693 AED showed up on camera here around every time "Savior" made an entry in the notepad that ought to be enough to get a warrant to bring him in for questioning, at least. However, you best act quick to bring him in. With a Peacekeeper calling him out of the blue after he can't get through to Tr'ak, AED might put two and two together, guess what you were calling him about and possibly destroy or hide evidence or try to make a run for it or hide.

Looking at the entries after the deleted one it wouldn't make any sense for "Savior" to write this. Most likely a third party posed as "Savior" and inserted and deleted that message to get Tr'ak to leave the ARC leg data where they could collect it.

Ask PAC what the password to the notepad was; It might be a clue if it's not just a string of random characters. Also ask what's the minimum hardware needed to crack the password in a time period as long as between the last "TR" entry and the deleted entry.

Does that mean when they reboot they'll forget everything from who knows how long before they were knocked out, going back to their last save? If so then you best get them to a Peacekeeper computer or AI forensic tech ASAP to extract a copy of their active memory before they wake up; That is, if it's legal to do so. But either way ask PAC to pull their body's serial numbers and ID who they are.

That's back up at PKHQ, right? And these 'bots are going to be hauled up there, right? So you may as well send the AI core along with them then. Just make sure that there's a strong Peacekeeper escort taking them up.

It's near certain those porn BTLs have data from the ARC project on them, but it's highly unlikely you could access it just by using them. To hope to find it you're going to need an AI or three to go through and compare the data between them and known clean copies of those BTLs. Check with PAC if your case has gotten serious enough that the department will provide the needed resources to do this.

Send Eli a message strongly suggesting that she have all of Tr'ak and his K55P assistant's activity on the ARC project and while on Sol Corp property for the last five days audited in depth, if she hasn't already called for it, starting with any access to the ARC's leg data.

Considering this encounter you ought to make a requisition request for a shock pistol or other ranged weapon that'll work on both 'bots and biologicals, or at least 'bots, for at least as long as you're on this case. There's a fair chance you'll be facing 'bots again and it'd be sensible to have a better means to subdue them than throwing your stun baton.

so as far as we know the the AI cube we have is empty right? and Tr'ak wanted TWO bodies right? why two? I mean as far as we know the only AI that Tr'ak worked with that seemed to be an S.A.I in everything but name was K55P and from what I saw of him he seemed to have a pretty good body already. I mean the only thing I can think of is that Tr'ak was trying to get a spare body for K55P to maybe sneak him out of Sol Corp. via the new body, but till why two? These guys didn't seem very competent, and while they were criminals, it strikes me that they used stun weapons of a low grade. They weren't out to make a kill, just to get the AI core. Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot we can learn from them until they wake up for interrogation, but I'm wondering if the murder was commited by somebody else, perhaps the supposed "Second Savior."

This also makes sense since they were doing business with him and he was most likely part of the group considering the robe in his apartment. If there were two robots Tr'ak was trying to help out, then maybe they want the cube to help the second robot even though the deal fell through. I mean, judging by their weaponry I don't think they have a lot of money, and if they did have a lot of money they could just pay to free SAIs. I suspect that the robot "victim" killed Tr'ak, but I'm not sure what the motive was. After all, it had Tr'ak's blood on it. That puts it at the scene of the murder at the time when the murder took place. It would either have to have done it, or be on good terms with the murderer so that they didn't immediately turn on it.

Show him the insignia you found in Tr'ak's apartment, ask if he recognizes it. Second, what's so special about the AI Core that his goons needed it so badly as to threaten a police officer to get it? Third, ask if he knows who those two robot bodies were meant for. Ask if he's ever met the P55K robot that was destroyed, or whoever the other robot is.

K55P was thrown down a maintenance shaft in peaces and Tr'ak was found hanging from his ceiling with half of his side crushed in. We believe that Tr'ak was working with Deus Machina which we also believe you(AED) are a part of. Deus Machina has also been recently been seen robing a store after objects that Tr'ak had at one point had in his possession and now have also have attacked a peace keeper and then one of the attacks that had fled ran straight to your home. We also have evidence that Tr'ak was in contact with you shortly before he was found dead. Now you have to admit this all looks pretty damning so if you truly have nothing to do with the 2 murders please tell me everything you know of both tr'ak and K55P.

We can ask more questions as he talks.

Perhaps the SAI occupying the K55P wasn't the SAI Tr'ak knew but another that was swapped in and did the crime. Or maybe not even a SAI but a ordinary AI that built to murder Tr'ak. Or it might be that the K55P SAI was forced to murder Tr'ak. Maybe a remote control was installed and another was driving the K55P while the SAI could do nothing. Or maybe an additional directive or bind like the one that prevents the K55P from placing itself in harm was put in it, but this one either compelled it to murder Tr'ak and then destroy itself or follow the orders of another given over comms to do so. How would such directives/binds be added or modified, and to what extent could they can control or compel the SAI or its K55P body to do things?

I simply bring these up so AED knows that even if he isn't guilty there still is a mean case build up against him should the charges be pressed and we don't want an innocent bot to take the fall, we want the bastard that murdered both Tr'ak and K55P. Now that you think about it, the way those three Deus Machina 'bots acted in trying to get the AI core with the ARC leg data doesn't make sense. First off, why the heck were they in their attention-grabbing "official" shells when they were staking out Tr'ak's place? You'd think they'd want to try and keep a low profile to try and catch him. And then when you go into Tr'ak's place and leave they figure that you're carrying the AI core without any good reason and then get the idea to tail and then threaten you, a Peacekeeper officer, into handing it over. And then even if you did hand it over they should have known they'd be cam-tracked anywhere they went on the station and both they and AED would be buried in PK officers before they could do anything with the data. And how come they had two illegally modified stun rods capable of zapping a PK officer through their armor and a plastic replica shock rifle all ready to go for this? And then the one 'bot that stupidly ran RIGHT back to AED, which totally implicate it in the crime.

Now, put this all together and it's more than can be explained by stupidity. It feels like they were trying to bring the Peacekeepers down on them and AED, which makes you wonder if whoever is in those three 'bots are actually AED's comrades. Maybe they're impostors trying to pin this mess on AED and the Deus Machina. Do you have a way to check if the SAIs in them are the actually the three that AED knows?

If you don't already have the contact details for AED's three comrades, ask AED for them now; You'll want to try and call them to see if they are actually in the three Deus Machina 'bots in custody. Also ask AED what type of shells those three use day-to-day and when and where it last saw each of them in those shells; You'll want that info as starting points to track them through the cam records and see if they actually changed into their "official" shells. And also ask where they kept their "official" shells so you can send an officer around to check if the shells are still there, as well as check the camera records for when the shells entered and left those locations for the last few days, especially around the time that the 'bot with Tr'ak's BTL rental card came to Embracer's BTL rentals.

Ask AED where the Deus Machina get their "official" shells from and how much they cost. Since their organization seems to be strapped for cash you'd guess they're modified from a cheap common 'bot model, so ask how easy it is to get the modification directions and do them. You want to know how easy it'd be to make an impostor Deus Machina 'bot.

Show AED the security camera record of the 'bot that had Tr'ak's BTL rental card that came into Embracer's BTL rentals and ask if AED can account for its whereabouts at the time that 'bot came in and if it knows if its three fellow Deus Machina members can do the same.

what's with the stutter in the com system? Can we put a request for someone to look into that because I feel like the station might have been hacked, and before you say that isn't possible you also said it wasn't possible for people to bring harmful weapons aboard this station and now someone just had a tram explode so someone is figuring ways around the system.

But yeah I feel like this is a smoke screen to cover something up. Make sure someone is Guarding AED's side at all times and make sure that nobody is trying to steal something from HQ or the BTL's from our room. The only reason I can think of for someone to do something as noticeable as blowing up a tram car is to pull as many peace keepers away from somewhere to make it easier to steal. Still we are going to need to head down there at some point to figure out how they pulled this off because they're bound to have left behind clues which will help us catch this guy.

So yeah I say head down there but only if you can get someone to watch AED, if not then stay next to AED until another peace keeper can take over and no mater what you do make sure PAC is watching your apartment to make sure no one is trying to steal those BTLs.
