So, before starting this light but spine heavy quest how much do you potential readers know about Starcraft?

Personally, I've played Starcraft 1, am playing in Starcraft 2 beta, but am not too much into Zerg lore. So aside from unit details, I couldn't describe their migration habits.

Best not to assume anything.
If it's relevant, bring it up in the quest.

I know as much as the wiki tells me.

Also Zergs were the first race with which I won a match.

I'm in the Starcraft 2 beta, and I know what most of the units do.

Not too sure about the story though.

ZERG RUSH KEKEKEKEKEKKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKKE

That is the full extent of my knowledge on Starcraft.

I've always thought that each brood being a character in the form of a cerebrate was cool.

Never liked how it turned into "all hydras work for kerrigan now kekeke" in brood war.

I'm enough of a StarCraft plot nerd that it seriously bothers me not knowing whatever happened to the Governor of Mar Sara during the events of the expansion. By which I mean the nameless faceless character you're actually officially playing as during the human campaign. It was addressed for the other two viewpoint characters dagnabit!

Same goes for the cerebrate from the first zerg campaign, which according to the internet is different from the one in the expansion. That one was supposedly grown for the sole purpose of protecting Kerrigan, so if there's any that she'd spare, you'd think it'd be that one.

But then, it is starcraft, where people don't need much reason to betray their allies.

I played and beat Starcraft 1 and its expansion, and know only a little about Starcraft 2.

Seriously? What evidence is there that you aren't playing the same patched up cerebrate then? I'm curious now.

According to the Starcraft wiki, the Mar Sara Governor left the raiders after the events of the first Terran campaign, and the Cerebrate was killed by Tassadar.

wanna add me in Starcraft 2 beta as your friend so we can match togheter and gain each other's strategies etc.? my email is kari.valli@gmail.com.

I guess that the protoss destroyed even that celebrate that was supposed to protect Kerrigan. I also have brood wars installed, but to be honest, I never had to play it very far yet.

Oh yeah. There's an actual mission where one of the goals is to make Kerrigan's babysitter go splat. The Zerg missions in the expansion though start with her telling the player (a cerebrate) how she resurrected it to do some of the heavy mental lifting. The only reason not to assume it's the same one is if there's specific evidence somewhere that it's one of the others. And really, the others tend to be a bunch of mouthy jerks, so you'd figure there'd be some backtalk Artanis style if it was Daggoth or something.

Hey! Any one of you other Starcraft 2 beta testers interested in making a combat simulation of this according to the suggestions made about the sitch? http://www.tgchan.org/kusaba/quest/src/127582725149.jpg

I've made some of the more tactical suggestions, but I'm not in the SC2 beta. I've just watched quite a few commentaries and picked info off the wiki.

Ignore this. Quest status: Evolving graphics. Preparing for a potential Terran chapter. Considering black and white comic style. Shed your thought on that!

I do like your current style, makes me think that this is how Zerg see the world. I guess you could change the design for each storyline or somn.

I have to say I am loving your art style. Some of the pics could stand to be re-sized but still awesome.
