ITS Maultier automated emergency transmissions have been received. No response to return signals. Ship is currently in a decaying orbit around 372-E. Potential piracy attempt. Deploying recovery agents to secure assets.

Karthan: "Looks like the lights are on, but nobody's home."
Garret: "If they are home and they're looking for help, they're going to be disappointed that we're just a bunch of assholes with guns."
Madrazo: "Unless there's a bunch of assholes with guns in there. We're probably going to get a varied reaction, based on the circumstances."
Silpher: "Shut up. We're going in."

The chair is turned to check on the condition of the person

Karthan: "I don't see any wounds."

Drotha: "People don't just die for no reason. This shit is too weird."

Silpher: "Scared of a body, Burg? Maybe the ship is full of killer ghosts. OooooOOOoo!"

Drotha: "Man, fuck off."

Maybe the wounds were under the clothes. Or life support failed (you guys all suited up, right?). Or it was a toxin or airborne thing. Or hell, she just had a stroke witnessing everyone else being killed around her. Who knows, you're no doctor.

The body is laid out on the floor

Silpher: "C'mon. Check for a pulse or see if she's still warm or something."

Drotha: "How am I supposed to do that with all this crap on?"

Silpher: "Take your gloves off, stupid."

Drotha: "No way! What if they all died of some alien virus or poison gas?"

Silpher: "What a little bitch..."

Drotha: "I don't see you doing it."

Silpher: "I don't have real hands, dumbass. Besides, I'm not getting any damn poison viruses."

Garret: "Just pull that fucking jumpsuit open and see if her chest is moving.

Drotha: "Alright, but this is kind of fu..."

Garret: "Hurry the fuck up and stare at her tits!"

Drotha unzips the jumpsuit and pulls up her shirt to closely examine her chest.

Silpher: "Anything?"

Drotha: "Yeah, way bigger than yours."

Woman: "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Drotha: "AAAHHHH!"

Everyone "AAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Look on the bright side, this would be much creepier if she had been dead. Then you'd be checking out dead tits.

Tell not dead lady to calm her tits. Then tell you what the hell happened her.

As for what to do, try to get everyone to calm down, your solders damn it, then wait for the the women to calm down, at least enough to actually talk... and maybe have a few guys block the exit so she doesn't run.

If you can actually question her... well I guess explain what you were doing, then move one to the normal questions, like what the fuck happened her and why is there blood everywhere.

After several moments of hysterics, Gyrran attempts to calm the woman.

Gyrran: "We're with ITS. Do you know what happened here?"

Woman: "I... I can't remember."

Gyrran: "Did you get hit in the head? Are you hurt anywhere?

Woman: "No, I feel terrible, but I can remember my name. It's Kaori Nozawa, I'm one of the navigators and uh... I don't think I'm hurt anywhere... My neck. My neck is sore."

Gyrran: "Let's see it."

Kaori brushes her hair aside and a light is used to take a closer look

Madrazo: "It looks like a mildly infected injection wound. You were probably drugged with something, then in your complacent state, made to move the ship into it's current position, probably for rendezvous with another ship to offload stolen goods."

Garrett: "How do you figure?"

Madrazo: "I watch a lot of crime investigation shows."

Nozawa: "We left from Ganymede station and headed for the Minerva colonies, everything was normal, then it got fuzzy and I woke up with you guys undressing me."

Drotha: "That was for medical reasons, to check vitals. Because of possible, uh..."

Silpher: "I'm pretty sure the whole thing is an excuse to check out your chest."
>>

If it's mildly infected then it wasn't done with a clean needle... that somewhat suggests that some sort of creature did it. I mean who uses dirty needles nowadays? Plus, we have evidence something dragged half a corpse into the vents.

Ask her what cargo was on board. Maybe the creature is an escaped specimen.

Or that they didn't properly clean or disinfect the injection site before sticking her. And if they were hostile boarders or something, they probably didn't ask her to sit down while they rubbed an alcohol swab before sticking her.

Silpher deserves his shit swatted.

Ask her how much she doesn't remember - few hours, a day, more? And explain to her that she might be contaminated and that she needs to be under supervision.

No. 619604 ID: 9ddf68

well could she let us take a look on the ship's computer? I mean it might have some information what happened here, and if not there's still the black box, she could tell us where it is and we can yank it out. Of course if nothing else can be found here start heading towards the ships medical offices or whatever they're called and see if you can't do something about the neck wound. Last thing we need is here passing out on us again.
>>

Might want to check the footage to find out what the fuck happened to the crew.

The ships systems are operating on emergency power. Kaori uses the maneuvering thrusters to partially stabilize the orbit, but without power to the engines, the ship is still slowly falling into the planet below.
>>
No. 619900 ID: c0c685

>>619897

You'll have to get the power back on but first make sure this lady is alright. You've only found one and half of the missing crew so don't rush. Clearly something's going down and it is best to take it slow.

Double check the status of the lady, ensure her wound isn't something more and see if anything leading up to the point where she blacked out sounds suspicious.

Set up a command post in the Bridge, secure the area, leave a couple people and the lady there and send a small team out to restore power to the engines.
>>

get spacetits to lead you to the engines or rngine control room or whatever
>>
No. 619919 ID: 9ddf68

is there anyway to lock people out of this room if we where to leave or at least the controls? Because if not I think (and I hate to say it) we might have to split up, one team stays here to make sure that the ship doesn't go down once the engines come back online and the second group goes over and fixes the engines. How many people do we have in our group not counting the chick we just found? I count about 5 but want to make sure.

Depends on skillsets. You obviously want to leave at least one person who knows how to use the stuff on the bridge besides Kaori up there, and you want to send people who know something about engine repairs to the engine.

Silpher: "I'm fine with that. Have fun."

Madrazo: "We'll just relax and assume everything is going to plan. Radios won't work for shit once you get a few feet of bulkheads between us."

you got three fully armed and armored bastards traveling together. You'll be fine, just check your corners, make sure to look over you shoulder ever now and then, and don't take any unnecessary risks and you'll be fine. Besides, you'll be moving meaning you three will be harder to pin down, the guys staying here are more likely to be sitting ducks then anything.

Well good. We'll hear if anyone starts getting murdered by space monsters, then.

Remember to secure / watch the exits to the bridge (including the vents), and see if you can get anything else out of the computers. Maybe there's logs, or telemetry, or security footage, or some such bullshit that can tell us what happened?

Silpher: "Alright, guard duty. Time to kick back."

Madrazo: "That was fast... Weren't you the one going on about space viruses?"

Silpher: "That was just to get Droza to molest the corpse- Er... Check Katie here for vitals."

Kaori: "It's Kaori."

Silpher: "Yeah, that. But there's no signs of any epidemics happening. It's looking like a run of the mill hijacking. We just hang out and shoot anything that tries to come in, besides civvies and teammates, I guess.

Taking your helmet off every once in a while is important anyway. It establishes that you're a main character and not a faceless mook, so you won't die unless it's really important."

Madrazo: "You watch too many movies."

Silpher: "Don't blame me if you die first. I know my shit."

Ask Kaori if she knows that guy who got cut in half by the blast door, and if there's any way to remotely check for blocked air vents.

Go around and rig bells or chimes or something on all the nearby air vents, make it impossible to get in or out of the ducts quietly.
