Everything is crap lately. I need to get out of this slump... After a few more of these. Then I make all the money and get my ass back on track. I got a plan, I guess.

Sigh and act like you've given up, then follow the guy out. If he runs, jump him. If he gets in a car, join him.

After a short sprint down the street, I manage to not fall over and catch the rat guy.

"Goin' somewhere? I was asking a question and you're being very rude runnin' out on me."

"W-What?! Who the hell are you?"

"Shadup. I'm asking the questions here..."

Threaten that you'll eat him if he doesn't help pay for your dinner, because after a good drink dinner is always next.

And he can pay for your dinner by leading us to the man we want.
Remind him not to make you work for your dinner tonight. You like to play with your food, after all, and when you're angry, the playing gets rougher.

"I don't know nothin'. Lemme go!"

"I don't think that's true and if it is, I'm kind of hungry anyway, so I'm not going to feel too bad about this."

I stick his head in my jaws and start to squeeze. If he doesn't want to talk, I can bite a chunk out of his skull.

"I don't know anything! I gut nothi- No! No! Shit! Wait! Warehouse 43 i-in the B-Berig Industrial Park! It's where they move stuff from! That's all I know!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

>just to further establish that you are not a reasonable person

Seems reasonable to me.

"WHAT THE FUCK! LET ME GO!"

I got a lead. I don't know if staggering over there half in the bag and unarmed is a good idea. Maybe if I got a few more drinks though.

If you're not going now, it's not wise to leave him where he could go warn them you're coming. Maybe you should do more to inconvenience him than leaving him tied up in an alley.

>>

>>631440
Hmm, I'm not sure if you should let this rat go.
I mean, if he's telling the truth, he'll try to warn them later, and he's a rat so he's fast, and you're going to go get a drink or prepare some other way so they're going to get the warning.
And if he's lying he deserves more pain.
Got any contacts in this town that can keep an eye on him or should we just eat him? No need to waste good, free meat. Rat is high in protein. Good for the mission as much as any drink.

But no seriously you should get something in your stomach before you consider drinking more and before you fight. I don't care if it is him or if you were just joking and eat somewhere else, just get a bite to eat first. Maybe he has some gold on him you can use.

>go back grab your weapons, and head over to the warehouse

Right now? Ugh... Ruining my buzz to poke around in some dirty warehouse in the middle of the night. Okay, whatever.

So this warehouse complex is were they're bringing all the shit they steal to fence off later, right? Probably right. I caught the gist of it.

There's a box truck parked in front of one of the buildings and the bay door is open. Are they moving goods? I don't see anyone around right now, but it's really late to be doing this. So odds are pretty good I'm in the right place.

>Compliment him on the abs as you leave
Meh... Maybe if he was three feet taller. Short guys don't do it for me. Focus on whatever it is I'm doing here.
>>
No. 631812 ID: 9ddf68

right, find a back door or something, and maybe see if you can't open a crate to see what they're smuggling. Then find whoever's running this thing, bust their head open, and ask where his boss is so you can do the same to him. Also do you know if any of this crime lord's underlings have bounties on their heads? If nothing else it could give you some beer money to pay off your tab and then start up another one.

They probably have guns. Who said they can't have guns? They might have swords or somebody that can cast magic. Who knows?

>Unless that's a shotgun on your back
Of course not. It's an old dwarven Y-7 Ullr battle rifle. Three shots, lots of punch and reinforced to hit things with it. It's an old piece of crap, but it works.
>>
No. 631991 ID: 9ddf68

see if the side door is open, if not depends if you want to go in loud or quite. If Loud, kick the door open with your weapon draw, if you want to go the other route just see if you can't sneak in trough the big open door in the front and if you do get spotted just go loud.
>>

Gnolls with battle rifles. I approve

Kick down door and use (main character)+1 plot armor to not be killed in any way while taking out all people save for one to interrogate

Or use Plot convenience to make nobody be here so you can go through their stuff.

The door is open, which makes sense since the bay door is open and you'd have to be an idiot to leave the bay open and lock the side door.

Tintin logic. Blunt force head trauma is a safe way to incapacitate people with absolutely no long term damage or risk.
