Behold, my worthless servants. I have given you form. It's a pathetic, stupid form, because all you get to do is watch and maybe whisper your idiotic ideas to my mortal servants.

Now, choose someplace for my servants to get a fresh start spreading chaos and discord in my name. I don't care where, just any kind of terrain you choose. Then, GO!

slouchy, go back to watching to road. keep track of how often someone or something comes by the road, and in which direction

okay first, if anyone is still chasing Greza's naked ass, kill them. next, we need a rundown of skills, any of you really good at something or are you all just peasants? anyone good at something we need to look into getting them set up to keep doing it. got any tools? if so then use them. and then finally some people should go out and look for food sources.

These woods were once a battlefield. Search the surrounding woods, look for any signs of this battle, especially anything useful, or fun.

Greza sez there's been farmers going up and down the roads nearby? Have some gobs start following them and scout out where the local farms/villages are, and perhaps steal some shit for practice. Only send ones that are likely to come back.

16 goblins... viable start. if its 8 of each gender, and each female has 5 children, then thats 40 children, which can then have 100. So have sex like crazy; we shouldn't really have to explain this to you though, it should come natural. Short term you need to secure fortification and food supplies.
You need:
1. Knowledge (agriculture, woodworking, stoneworking, etc).
2. Tools.
3. Slaves

And also, while a 156 goblin tribe is neat to have, it would be much nicer to get more numbers shorter, so some way to find nearby goblin tribes and unify with them is welcome.

What season is it right now? that is important, if it is spring than try finding rabbit warrens and steal baby rabbits (don't have tools to trap adults) for farming... actually screw that, too much work, steal chickens from human farmers... actually screw that too, lets do it in style!

1. Arm all 16 goblins.
2. Enslave (or kill and steal from) local farmers.

This means:
1. See how many farmers there ARE, we need scouts.
2. We need weapons, most basic would be a sharpened stick ("spear") for each with the tip hardened in fire... do you have anything to sharpen them with? do you even have fire? Maybe steal a knife and use that

Getting set up is probably most important. We can't start killin' fuckers without a solid base of operations, can we? Right now we got a crappy stone building and a shitty little lean-to, so just tell us what you want build, moved, dug, whatever and how many of us you want doing each thing and we'll get to it.

Yeah, you need more goats. I'm watching a documentary and it says goats had a pretty significant effect in the development of farming, and consequently, modern technology.

Basically, goats cause guns and computers. Oh, and alcohol. GET MORE GOATS. Designate one or two gobs as Minister of Goat. You also need a Minister of Hat.

As we possess a goat, we shall use it in farming... Animal power means more manpower in other things.
so set a part for farming...
Start quarrying rock and make a small hut to hold wood (keep it from getting soggy.) Then start collecting wood and stone and we'll work from there

goats would be awesome, goat milk is delicious and healthy, and the meat is tasty too... pretty tame animals as well, just don't piss them off or they gore you with their hooves or horns.

But I still say some slaves to do the farming would be awesome. At best you enslave farmers, at worst you kill them and get:
1. A meal
2. A house
3. A farm, with animals and more.
4. Equipment.

Also, start mating.

I don't really think we're gonna get a population explosion the natural way. Recruitment is generally how you get a real evil army. Besides, our enemies will be breeding too. Granted we shouldn't discourage sex within the ranks either. Helps morale etc.

NOTE: Goats can be milked. You can drink it or make cheese out of it. Also yeah butchering em works.

Alright we have a decently-fortified position now. Set up some raised structures and station archers on them. That'll take care of defense pretty well. After that we should probably scout around near our location for a town or something to raid.

We dug a hole to put stuff and put together a watch tower. If you want us to build more, we should probably have some full-time builders and lumberjacks or we're gonna run out of crap to build with.
We're in a forest, so we got tons of wood and meat available, if we send out hunters or lumberjacks. The ruins only have so much stone before we'll need more to build stuff out of stone and the ground is mostly dirt around here, so it'll take some diggin' to get more. We'll need actual miners working on it.

>What kind of skills do you guys have?
Just set some gobs on something and they'll learn.

>I don't really think we're gonna get a population explosion the natural way.
You stupid or somethin'? We're goblins. We could each have like, two or three kids every six months. Each one's pretty much ready to do everything at five years old. So, eight females goin' at it non-stop, in a few years we could have... Fuck yer math, it'd be a lot. but only if you get things set up good enough to let us do somethin' like that. Besides, nobody wants to sit around knocked up for years at a time unless it's super desperate, so we'd probably take turns, but we can make more.

>We need some proper dark rituals and shit, man.
I'd love to slit some human open and all, but that would probably attract attention and we're not set up to hold off much. I'm all for it once we can handle a few pissed off farmers though.

So, yeah. Get us doin' stuff or we're gonna mill around doin' nothing.
>>

Yeah, we should start acquiring resources. Get a full time woodcutter and maybe a miner to dig a small mine, so that we can get stone to build stronger defenses and metal to make some real weapons.

Get four woodcutters. Make a clearing around your palisade. 2 diggers- make a pit around the wall and start working on a tunnel system. Also, try to reroute a stream to turn the pit into a moat. Without an anvil mining for ore is a waste of time, though. Four farmer/gatherers, not so much crops as plant strawberries and raspberries and whatever the fuck is hardy and will flourish on it's own. Four hunters, get real good with those bows. Hell, make EVERYONE practice either bows or slings. Make a rock pile behind the wall for sling ammo.

Two of you should be pregnant and barefoot and weaving baskets or whatever.

Well how about that. Alright then GET BUSY.

Okay, set two dedicated lumberjacks, two dedicated hunters, and FOUR dedicated miners. The mine will initially produce naught but dirt, then stone, and eventually we may find an iron deposit or something after some exploratory mining. Even then we won't get metal from it very quickly. We need to get to the actual ore fast, and there's no such thing as too much metal anyway.

i agree, 4 full time cutters and 2 diggers. get a nice big wood pile going for anything needed. have 2 goblins with spears and leather armor watching them so if any beasts show up they can at least do a retreat without anyone dying. and finally see if any gobbo chicks have their biological clocks going off. need to start getting enough for a good army.

Wicker for furniture, baskets, curtains/dividers, replacement roofs and walls, whackin' sticks for raising the goblin kids and such. I suggest rotating the hunters with the rest of the guards/fighters so that the people who know how to use bows all get some experience actually trying to shoot living targets with them and have a clue about the local territory so they know where the enemy might come from or hide.
Eventually we want double-layer stone battlements and some sort of plan for how to both use and deal with fire offensively and defensively. We need that 'cuz it would really suck if all the humees need to get rid of us is one wizard hooking a ballistic fireball on us for a swish in the hoop (our walls).
Say, what sort of magic can we put at our disposal and what do we have to fear? It'd be nice if we could be the ones hooking a ballistic fireball out of the blue to wreck a human fortress.

Seconding everyone being trained in bow and/or sling.
Let's see, we'll need:
2 goatherds
2 lumberjacks
2 miners
2 builders (unless they'd use the wood faster than the 'jacks can get it, then make the other a hunter)
2 hunters
2 babymakers/decorators (or something more useful, I dunno)
...er, and that leaves four I don't know what to do with.

Well then we're going to need some hunters and lumberjacks as well as a few builders. Set shit up, more huts and a ditch with spikes in it. Make more tools and shit, maybe send out a caravan or two to trade goat-milk, hides and any surplus goats for metal so you can make better tools. Give it a year or two, attract some extra settlers, train up a good militia and maybe even some dedicated fighters and then go fuck up some humans royally. Take a few prisoners and then you can properly bless this new settlement with a nice blood sacrifice.

Yes, do get busy... children are good.

The women who are pregnant don't have to sit around doing nothing, they can do certain jobs. Like butchering animals for meat, tanning (who makes clothes, leather armor, and works the tendons into strings), and woodworkers who make furniture, bows and arrows. Stealing or trading for chickens yields a steady source of eggs, meat, and feathers. The feathers can be used to make arrows and for beddings. Again, jobs that a pregnant woman can do.

The only reason to have 4 woodcutters is if we plan to build lots of wooden structures. At the moment there is nothing to build. I say only 1 woodcutter for now to supply the people making bows and furniture. Housing should be underground primarily.

Goblins are small of stature so melee is not a good idea. Its better to equip everyone with a bow. They can use bows and arrows for hunting, and they can use it for fighting. The bowyer could eventually move onto making repeater crossbows.

My suggestion:
Females (8 total):
* All should aim to be pregnant as often as possible. Pregnancy does not prevent doing the following jobs:
2 - Woodworkers, eventually specialize into furniture maker and bowyer.
2 - Butcher
1 - Tanner (prepares hides, prepares tendons into bowstrings)
1 - Leatherworker (makes leather clothes, armor, waterskins, etc)
2 - Herders (goats, chickens, etc)
Numbers subject to change based on exact quantities dealt with.

Males (8 total):
1 - lumberjack
2 - miners
5 - Hunters/Warriors (all armed with bows, hunt animals to train stealth and accuracy with bows. when not hunting train those skills)

Other jobs for the future (not enough population currently):
* Priests of Lurezcamor
* Basket weavers
* Poison makers
* Healers
* Etc

There is no point in building aboveground just yet, "mine" out underground housing... Although, might want to reinforce the tunnels with wooden or stone support arches.

The warriors should approach a farmer together, armed but not hostile looking. Don't AIM your weapons at them. Call out to them from afar that you came to trade, and bring some goats to trade for chickens. You WILL be stealing and enslaving them... LATER. First you need to chickens for making arrows.

Additional notes:
1. when you get to 50-ish individuals then any male/female can take on any role. The above is just for starting out since there are so few of you.
2. Children are a wonderful source of labor. They can work almost as well as adults.... freeing up more of the adult males (and eventually females too, but that is longer term) to become hunter/warriors.
3. Every single male, female, and child should own a bow and practice at least occasionally. To be used in, at the very least, defense of the town.
4. The town needs a name.
5. After about a year, the warriors can start raiding... but to begin with it should be further away from this colony to avoid drawing unwanted attention

Are you sure this isn't just a funny perspective optical illusion thing? cause if not than damn those goblins are HUGE... might be better than humans at melee...
Although still using ranged attacks would be superior... it should be archers with a sword for backup. And a bowman can double as a hunter, a melee soldier cannot. So if we have some dedicated meleers, they can come later.

We should get:
4 woodcutters
4 miners
3 hunters/trappers
3 dedicated guards
1 goatherd
1 pregnant woman (rotating)

Once we've hit stone and have some surplus we can cut back a bit with the miners, and once we've got enough wood for our basic necessities we can cut back on the woodcutters.

First priority is our own survival, which means we need defenses. Dig a trench around the walls. Place punji sticks and other simple traps in the area around your camp. Have the guards doing 8-hour shifts, with at least two awake at any given time. Everybody in camp should learn to use a sling. Give the guards and hunters spears and bows, and have them train whenever they're not busy. We should be covered for food, but just in case we might want to keep some smoked meat for emergencies. Likewise, we should be good for water at the moment, though we should look into digging a well once we're all set up. We should look into building some more permanent shelters, at least something that won't be destroyed by the first storm.

Once you've got your base firmly established and you're confident in the abilities of your fighters, send a couple guys out to scout the area, see if you can't make some allies. You'll need more people and maybe some metal weapons before you can have a chance in hell of raiding one of the towns and surviving.

Right. Three hunters. Two lumberjacks. Three sentries, with eight hour shifts. Two miners, who should find metal as soon as possible. Two builders for now, expanding housing and getting the facilities for the different industries set up. One should become a smith once we get access to metal and all the currently discussed stuff is up and running. The rest craftsmen of various sorts. Someone making bows and arrows. A shaman or healer of some sort, studying the local herbs and mushrooms to heal and poison. A tanner and leatherworker, to make clothing, armor, packs, waterskins, and whatever else needs making. That's fifteen, which unless I'm mistaken is the current number of unallocated goblins.

Women get to work on that "goin' at it non-stop" thing, and to avoid reproduction from interfering with productivity overmuch, women focus on comparatively sedentary jobs like those last three.

Focus on building the place until you have a solid encampment based on one of the ideas or another, and then knock up erryone.

oh im sorry it seems i clicked on the splinter que-

huh. ok then, no more gobbo shenanigans.

dont forget to also assign someone to make the dig sites safe.

we may need to pave if at least partially the floor inside the fort. also, dig sites and plantations sounds... precarious.

is there a river nearby? this is a bit important.

Get your group's sneakiest asshole of a Goblin to scout out further up and down the road. Need to find out where the humans are, and how close.

Unless we as the floating eye of fucking uselessness can do it faster.

...i certainly hope not. i can only think on 2 places we could be stuck, one would be very painful and the other very unconfortable.

AFAIK we replaced one of the eyes of the goat.

I'm surprised nobody else said this. If you haven't already done so... BUILD AND/OR DIG OUT SOME ROOMS FOR YOURSELVES!! GEEZ! (slight necrobump, but it reminds the author of the quest, no?)

Make some badass armor for yourselves, at least for a couple of guards. And none of that chain-mail bikini shit. I wanna see some crafted iron.

if "living in tunnels" was nixed as unrealistic then "chainmail bikini" has a snowball's chance in hell...
Although I would love it if gnoll drew some sexy chainmail bikini goblin babes for us, maybe post them in questdis or art threat *wink wink*

We dug a hole and made other gobbos do other stuff, which is great and everything, but all this orderly mucking around is makin' my head hurt. Where's the chaos? Where's the murder?

>"chainmail bikini" has a snowball's chance in hell...
But that's the best idea! Tits jiggling all over the place. Can't go wrong with that.

>Scout around more
Who? Where? How many?

well see, you need metal to make badass armor covered in spikes and swords that shoot fire. you think the stuff needed to make those things comes out of nowhere? anyway, scout out the nearest farming village. sneak in and steal a bunch of metal farming equipment and then you can melt it down and reforge it.

Some of the sneakier fucks, and send them in both directions along the road. That way we can find out a bit more about what sort of traffic might come along the road and stuff.

Its awesome and fun until you lose your women-folk to arrows and swords hitting their unarmored soft bits.
I think chain-mail bikinis should be used... for parties and ceremonies. Not actual combat.

We really need an overview of the area for further planning, so send out 2-5 sneaky types as scouts. Where are those farmers coming from and going to? They tend to sell their wares at markets, so there's a place that sneaky types can rob somewhere in the general vicinity.

fuck 'scouting', that's too organized.

Make it a fucking contest. Whoever's got the guts for it should head out, up the road, down the road, into the woods, whatever the fuck.

This mission is clothing optional: The options being nothing, or mud.

Whoever brings back the coolest treasure, captive, or head wins whatever the others brought back, as well as our favor.

We can learn about the area from it too.

Actually this does seem like a proper way of getting to know who would have the "balls" to do some rather suicidal stuff in the future.

Plus, always fun to have some natural selection working in your favor

>>339974

We can have it all the time! They're goblins, once we get em breedin we can have divisions of bikini's and proper armored warriors.

The properly armored ones will be the ones that survive long enough to deserve more than just some fat tit jigglin chainmail bikini/thong combo's. Of course!

Sounds good to me. While they're gone, continue to improve the fortifications. A gate we can bar, a raised platform along the inner wall, javelins for defenders along that wall to throw at attackers.
